Responsibilities: Data Architecture & Pipeline Development Prepare, cleanse, and transform HR data for modeling and analytics. Partner with data engineering resources to optimize HR data pipelines and integrations Develop data models and ensure integration of HR data into enterprise-wide reporting and analytics. Implement best practices for data storage, processing, and scalability. Data Quality, Security & Compliance Establish data validation, cleansing, and monitoring processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of HR data. Maintain compliance with global HR regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and internal audit requirements. Implement and monitor data governance and security standards. Innovation & Enablement Partner with HR and IT teams to identify opportunities for automation, AI enablement, and advanced analytics. Qualifications and Functional Skills: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Data Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of relative experience. Master's degree preferred, with 3+ years of relative experience. Strong experience with data pipeline development and ETL/ELT processes. Firsthand experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipeline development & deployment), Databricks, and cloud-based data engineering tools. Proficiency in SQL and Python. Knowledge of data modeling, database design, data lakehouse concepts, and data warehousing best practices. Solid understanding of data governance, data quality, and security standards. Familiarity with HR systems and data, ideally SAP SuccessFactors or comparable HCM platforms. Ability to translate HR process knowledge into data engineering solutions. Exposure to Power BI or other business intelligence tools (preferred, not required). Understanding of machine learning techniques (regression, classification, clustering, forecasting).
