Key Responsibilities:

+ The Data Recording group within Development Operations performs a wide variety of technical tasks in support of engine instrumentation and test facility readiness for development and production testing.

+ The organization supports structural, performance and advanced measurement data recording systems, sensor installations and calibration.

+ Tasks include consultation with engineering and customer groups to establish requirements, mechanical and electrical installations, troubleshooting and calibration of devices in the test facility or lab, and operation of data acquisition systems during validation testing.

What You'll Do

As a Tax Senior within the Multistate Tax Services group, you will provide innovative technology solutions to complex state and local tax issues across a diverse client base. You will continue to grow your technical knowledge in state taxation and emerging technologies by working on large, complex tax projects. Collectively, our team has significant experience with the requirements and nuances of jurisdictions in all 50 states. Our specific services include state income and franchise tax, indirect tax, business restructuring, credits and incentives, sales and use tax outsourcing, excise tax, property tax, state strategic tax review, and state tax controversy.

Qualifications

Required:

+ 3+ years of experience in Corporate tax compliance or other tax experience

+ Experience with data extract/transform/load (ETL) tools (e.g. Alteryx, Informatica, PAXATA)

+ Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or computer science relevant field

+ Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

+ One of the following accreditations obtained, in process, or willing able to obtain:

+ Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA

+ If not CPA eligible:

+ Licensed attorney

+ Enrolled Agent

The Office of Data Management (ODM) within the Finance Division, performs a variety of tasks to help the Finance departments align with corporate data policies and standards. We work with various finance departments on data management documentation, processes, and training.

The role will be responsible for the management of business-focused projects (e.g., Data Governance, Data Quality, and Other Data related functions), provide innovative, thorough, and practical resolutions to a range of problems, and work on projects that require broad knowledge of the ODM and its key functions.
Our Impact:

Our team implements and monitors several key data management related items, from metadata, structured and unstructured data practices, and identification of critical data elements (CDEs) all the way to its lineage representation in Freddie Mac's approved data lineage tools. ODM Collaborates with external data owners to ensure source data quality aligns with business needs. ODM works includes:

* Collaboration with the division risk officer (DRO) to develop divisional procedures that align with corporate guidelines and the finance data strategy.
