Responsibilities * Work with Project Engineer, develop 3D models of designed products and 2D shop drawings for submittal to customer. * Utilize CAD software tools for 3D modeling and 2D detailing to create high quality and error free project specific product details for production purposes and customer use in the field. * Meet drawing submittal deadlines as determined by company. * High attention to detail when developing 2D Shop Drawings. * Electronic verification of product performance characteristics. * Produce a bill of materials with valid ASTM references for procurement purposes. * Communicate and interact with internal departments regarding design, fabrication, quality, costs and material availability. * QC review of shop drawings completed by others. * Intuitive interpretation of contract plans and specifications. * Interpreting the design deliverable from the engineer and designing within those constraints. * Create drawings for special projects (e.g. special equipment, facility renovation, etc). * Other duties as necessary.
