As the Piping & Equipment Layout Lead Designer, you will lead the development of piping and equipment layouts for complex projects. Your responsibilities will include creating detailed equipment layouts, piping orthographic and isometric drawings, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure designs align with client needs and project specifications. Review designs for compliance with state, local, and Aqua requirements. Closeout projects - verify material inventory installed, as-builts finalized, and asset retirements provided to accounting. Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: Education and Certifications: Associate or bachelors degree. Professional Lighting Certification preferred (LC, CLCP). Required Qualifications: Ability to maintain a professional presence with all vendors, customers, colleagues, and management. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to develop electrical drawings, including schematics and wiring diagrams. This role involves releasing approved drawings and bills of materials to production, revising drawing packages according to customer comments, and resubmitting for approval. You will support production during the assembly and wiring process, create electrical bills of materials, and log data in the manufacturing database while ensuring that projects meet the requirements of any existing equipment. Responsibilities + Develop electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. + Release approved drawings and bill of materials to production. + Revise drawing packages per customer comments and re-submit for approval. + Support production during the assembly and wiring process. + Create electrical bill of materials and log data in the manufacturing database. + Ensure projects meet requirements of any existing equipment. Essential Skills + Electrical engineering and design expertise. + 2-year Associate's degree in Electrical Technology or a minimum of 4 years of medium voltage experience. + Experience with medium voltage design (5 kV to 38 kV). + Experience with enclosures and cabinets. + Drafting experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Power Distribution design experience is preferred.
