Key Accountabilities Group Leadership - Lead a small project team of contractors and/or associates as PIC / Project Leader. Engineering Specifications - Conduct or be the sub-lead analysis of information and the drafting of engineering specifications for an assigned Powertrain component / department function set, to inform engineering work in the organization and / or of its suppliers. Data Collection and Analysis - Conduct research using primary data sources and select information needed for the analysis of key themes and trends in technical evaluations. Supplier Management- Work with suppliers to coordinate requirements, schedule activities, and address issues in a timely manner. Project Management- Coordinate all steps of the development process for assigned part. Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Minimum Educational Qualifications: Bachelor s of Science in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent combination of education & experience required. Minimum Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience Other Job-Specific Skills 2D/3D CATIA, simulation, supplier support/negotiation and manufacturing support. Proficient PC Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and excellent communication/ interpersonal skills required. Ability to travel & work overtime may be required. Basic experience of coordinating the work of others to achieve general end results. Workstyle Must be able to work onsite at least 4 days per workweek.
