About the Role
This is a full-time Hybrid Senior Designer role based in the Bay Area. The Senior Designer will be responsible for creating and overseeing design projects, developing visual concepts, and ensuring the quality and consistency of the brand's visual identity. Responsibilities

Deliver detailed ID (Industrial Design) proposals for consumer electronics, including color, material, finish (CMF), and form exploration.
Create and refine 3D models, ensuring both design intent and manufacturability; oversee hand model quality and physical prototyping outcomes.
Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to guide products from concept through to mass production.
Contribute to the evolution of VITURE's design language by participating in R&D and innovation-focused projects across our smart hardware portfolio.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or above in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in industrial design; experience in the consumer electronics sector is a strong plus.
Required Skills
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Pro/E (or other 3D modeling software), and basic hand sketching.
Strong skills in concept iteration, wireframing, and prototyping.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities; confident in contributing to or leading within a creative team environment.

Responsibilities: Work as a consultant with a larger team or independently Gather requirements and data, understand abstract concepts and then interpret with effective UI/UX design, addressing user and client needs Work fluidly/responsively in both mobile and desktop formats Design wireframes, user flows, information architecture, prototypes, and perform usability studies Collaborate with other UX designers, front and backend teams, product owners, project managers. clients and their customers to create great user experiences in often complex web products Work effectively and be able to time-box your design process Create effective, even stunning interactive solutions within scope Solve complex user interface problems with elegant, on-trend design Communicate professionally and transparently Finish what you start Qualifications/Requirements: BA in Design or related field Minimum 5 years in web/mobile design Complete fluency with industry design tools such as Illustrator/Photoshop/Sketch to develop all phases of UI Excellent communication skills - ability to take criticism and iterate on feedback Deep understanding of importance of UX and work to prove it Experience taking complex problems and creating smooth, seemingly simple user flows Portfolio demonstrating use of design principles and contemporary design trends Experience in dashboard and data visualization design Strong understanding of the responsive web Solid understanding of web technologies like HTML5 and CSS3, their usage/limitations Familiar with agile/scrum methodology Experience performing User Research, Persona development, User Journeys, Wireframe dev and creating Prototypes.

Serena & Lily is searching for an Assistant Designer to join our tight knit Design Team at our Sausalito Headquarters. Our ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, is eager to learn and brings to the table a technical skill set that will allow them to hit the ground running. This role is responsible for assisting in all textile developments ensuring that quality, accuracy and on time execution are paramount from concept to production. This role reports into the Senior Designer. Product development is collaborative and tactile so ability to work in person is imperative.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the development of all textile categories.
Create design specifications for seasonal collections across products including bedding, bath, beach, and other soft goods.
Produce scaled renderings in Photoshop for visual presentations.
Translate creative concepts into precise, technically accurate specifications.
Develop layouts and adapt original artwork to suit textile product requirements.
Build and maintain BOMs and technical specifications in Backbone PLM.
Partner with factories and agents to ensure product quality and consistency throughout the development cycle.
Review lab dips, strike-offs, and development samples with a sharp eye for detail, ensuring accuracy against specs and cohesion with existing product lines.
Manage product development submissions and maintain fabric libraries.
Assist with seasonal assortment reviews and presentation setups.
Identify opportunities for innovation in production techniques, materials, and design processes.
Research new ideas, materials, and trims to inspire and support seasonal concepts.
Monitor market trends and competitive activity to inform product direction.
Stay organized and up to date with calendar deadlines and milestone changes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
BFA in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or related field.
1-3 years' experience in textile design, fashion design or product development.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Detail Oriented - from producing technically accurate specs to evaluating color, you have an eye for detail and commitment to quality
Quick Learner and a self-starter - seeking assistance when faced with challenges and finding the right resources to finish tasks.

COMPENSATION:
$70-80k per year is the anticipated starting base pay for this role. This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this role. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: experience, education, and skills.

Employees can enroll in our company's 401k plan. During the first year of employment, full-time employees accrue twenty-one days of PTO and seven paid holidays throughout the year.
