Senior Designer

We're searching for a Senior Designer to join our Amazon Fresh creative team. As the Senior Designer, you will bring to life and execute the brand identity for Amazon Fresh and report to the Creative Director, Design. You'll collaborate daily with your senior counterparts in Art Direction, Copy and Packaging to create an ownable, memorable and cohesive design system to Amazon Fresh.

To be successful in this role, this Sr. Designer will be an expert in executing design systems across all brand touch points (physical retail signage and merchandising displays, traditional media-outdoor/posters, digital placements onsite, paid social). You'll work with the Creative Director of Design to expand/evolve the brand guidelines and are prolific in your exploration boundary pushing solutions.

You are the model designer that others on the team aspire to for hard skills and teamwork. No task is too large or small for you. While the Designers do not report to you, you are passionate about mentoring them with your talent and seeing them flourish.

This role is based in Austin TX, within the Whole Foods Market corporate offices. We are a nurturing culture and big egos don't work out here. This individual is a full-stack user experience designer with hands-on human centered design thinking, UX/UI, research, & prototyping. With the guidance of our studio's Design and Innovation leadership, the designer will deliver polished UI artifacts and human-centric digital design deliverables. This role will also support the creation of product and design collaboration frameworks, co-creation tools, asset libraries, and design operations management that will ultimately power the work of our practice.

This designer should have strong design chops, consultative design strategy experience, and a fluency to ‘speak' about how their work ladders up to a strategic narrative. This designer will develop a nuanced understanding of emerging digital payment trends as well as Visa's capabilities and services in order to effectively leverage the right products and services at the right time in the solutions we design
Role responsibilities include

Collaborate with business partners and build upon their vision using sound UX principles.

Own and make design decisions based on a thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design principles.

Exercise independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor.

Partner with product & research managers to clarify business needs, define user requirements and help assess technical feasibility.

Capture requirements and create workflows, wireframes, prototypes and fully fleshed out designs.

Flex Work Arrangement - Hybrid Position - This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

We are now looking for a Senior Logic Design Engineer:

As a member of our CPU Logic Design Team, you will be responsible for a portion of the design of a high performance and low power chip, focusing on such tasks as micro-architectural definition, RTL coding, logic debug, synthesis and timing closure, supporting verification and implementation. What you'll be doing:

+ As a member of our core CPU team, you'll own and be responsible for crafting and timely delivery of a specific unit on the chip.

+ Day to day tasks include: writing readable high performance and low power RTL, Synthesis and Timing closure, and design documentation.

+ Collaborate with our verification team to verify the correctness of your unit.

+ Work with implementation to achieve your timing, area, performance and power goals.

+ Assist with timing closure of super units.

What we need to see:

+ A Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience.

+ 5+ years of experience in processor or other related high performance semiconductor designs.

+ Verilog expertise required as is a deep understanding of ASIC design flow including RTL design, verification, logic synthesis, prototyping, DFT, timing analysis, floor-planning, ECO, bring-up & lab debug

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required along with the work in a dynamic, global team. Your successful track record of mentoring junior engineers and interns a huge plus.

+ A strong background in computer architecture is highly desirable.
