    **Intel's Integrated Photonics Solutions Group** is seeking a senior designer for distributed feedback lasers and optical amplifiers with extensive industry experience and a track record of taking designs to market. In this position you will define and drive InP based laser and optical amplifier development from initial concept through design validation and component qualification. You will be responsible for the design, layout and analysis of test chips, and collaborate on the final integration into silicon photonic transceiver chips. You will perform tolerance analysis and optimizes components for performance, power, area, and reliability. Drives overall test chip execution and coordination including chip design, layout, tapeout, test, and validation. As design lead you are expected to analyze test data from characterizations, identify performance gaps, and drives improvement plans to achieve program goals.
