User Experience Designer UX/UI
Senior designer job in South Miami, FL
We're a fully digital platform that lets people buy and sell homes without paying commissions or dealing with layers of middlemen. We're here to make housing more affordable and put control back in people's hands, powered by tech instead of old-school gatekeepers.
We're tiny but mighty: 18,000 homes closed, more than $208M saved for our users, all with a team of 6 and our AI sidekick, Artur. We're scrappy, obsessed with product, and allergic to “the way things have always been done.”
And yes, we move fast, break outdated norms, and have fun doing it.
Position Summary
This role is a cornerstone for our next stage of growth. We're looking for a UX/UI Designer who doesn't just design screens - but designs feelings, clarity, confidence, and “oh damn, that was easy” moments. Someone who can take complex real estate workflows and turn them into elegant, human, intuitive experiences that even your grandma can navigate without calling for help.
You're the type who gets excited by messy user journeys, ambiguous whiteboards, and fixing conversion drop-offs with thoughtful design. You think in systems, flows, interactions, and stories - not just colors and buttons. And you care about shipping. Not someday. Now.
If you love bringing simplicity to chaos and think real estate deserves better design than a 1998 DMV form, we want to meet you.
This isn't a “make things pretty” role.
It's a “help reinvent how people buy and sell homes online” role.
Big playground. Big expectations. Big upside.
Key Responsibilities
• Own UX and UI across the entire product ecosystem (web + mobile)
• Design flows, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity screens, and design systems
• Transform complex real estate processes into simple, intuitive, delightful experiences
• Partner closely with product, engineering, and marketing to ship fast and iterate faster
• Run user testing, gather insights, and translate feedback into design decisions
• Use data to understand drop-offs, friction points, and opportunities for better UX
• Maintain and elevate our design system so everything feels cohesive and modern
• Create designs that are functional, beautiful, and conversion-obsessed
• Help define the product vision and bring clarity to ambiguous problems
• Advocate for users without compromising business goals (your superpower)
Qualifications
• 4-7 years in UX/UI or Product Design (a real badass designer)
• Strong portfolio with shipped products and measurable impact
• Fluent in Figma (auto-layout, components, variants, prototyping - the whole deal)
• Skilled in user flows, wireframing, prototyping, and interaction design
• Experience with design systems, responsive design, and mobile-first thinking
• Comfortable with data, user testing, and A/B experimentation
• Obsessed with simplicity, clarity, and reducing friction everywhere
• Fast mover, creative problem-solver, allergic to bureaucracy
• Passion for building 0→1 and improving 1→100
Success Metrics
• Higher conversion across key funnels
• Reduced friction and fewer user support tickets
• Faster task completion rates
• Clearer flows, cleaner UX, and stronger activation
• Meaningful lifts in engagement, retention, and NPS

Senior designer job in Miami, FL
ABOUT HUT 8
Imagine the ultimate destination for those who want to work at the cutting edge of technology, energy, and infrastructure. Hut 8 is on a mission to build and operate some of the world's largest data centers for next-generation computing workloads, including AI, Colocation, Cloud, and Bitcoin Mining. We are proud to offer interesting and challenging opportunities for individuals who want to build teams, solve problems, and make an impact from day one. If you're an ambitious individual looking for a career that is as rewarding as it is challenging, you've come to the right place.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a highly skilled, sophisticated Brand Designer to lead brand design for two distinct brands:
Hut 8 - A capital-markets-facing digital infrastructure platform that demands refined, institutional visual execution.
American Bitcoin (ABTC) - A newly launched, retail-facing Bitcoin brand where design must be fast-moving and culturally relevant.
Reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Strategy, the Brand Designer will join a team responsible for shaping and executing high-stakes, market-facing communications. This role requires exceptional aesthetic judgment, a high bar for technical quality, and the ability to work fluidly across different visual languages. You will be responsible for delivering work that is original, elevated, and non-derivative. As a key contributor, you'll play a central role in evolving the Hut 8 identity and defining ABTC's creative foundation-with significant influence over how both brands are expressed across channels.
This is a hands-on, execution-driven role with high expectations for taste level and output quality.
Some of the key responsibilities you should expect are the following:
Own the design and production of visual assets across Hut 8 and ABTC, ensuring all output meets a high bar for originality, brand alignment, and technical quality
Develop and evolve brand systems, including design guidelines, templates, and scalable visual standards, for use across digital, print, merchandise, and motion
Translate complex financial and strategic information into clear, compelling visual formats (e.g. investor decks, infographics, earnings materials)
Produce design assets for social media, website, events, product packaging, presentations, and internal tools
Collaborate with communications, strategy, retail, and external vendors to ensure consistent execution across all touchpoints
Uphold brand integrity across all content, proactively flagging inconsistencies and recommending refinements
Manage design workflows, asset libraries, and production timelines with efficiency and attention to detail
Contribute to creative reviews, offering a high-taste perspective that raises the standard of design across the organization
Support content production efforts-including photography, short-form video, and motion graphics-when aligned with brand design needs
ABOUT YOU
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Branding, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
You bring 3+ years of professional design experience, with a proven ability to lead and execute brand work across a range of formats, audiences, and creative challenges.
You have a natural passion for design and a sharp eye-you notice the details others miss and care deeply about craft, clarity, and visual impact
You have exceptional visual taste, with a strong grasp of brand systems and the ability to apply them precisely across channels
You hold a high standard for technical execution across static and motion formats, and your portfolio reflects polish and originality
You reject generic design and bring a distinct point of view while still working within brand constraints
You're highly adaptable between refined, institutional visual styles and more expressive, culturally relevant creative for consumer audiences
You excel at data-driven and information design-capable of translating complex ideas, metrics, and financial narratives into clear, compelling visual formats
You are fluent in tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite; experience in motion/production software (e.g., After Effects, Premiere, Final Cut) is a plus
You are organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities and stakeholders without compromising on quality
You thrive in execution-heavy environments and take full ownership of delivering excellent creative, start to finish
