Job Purpose and Impact
The Senior UX Designer- UX Center of Excellence mentors teams on UX best practices and design methodologies. Key Accountabilities
COACHING: Guide teams in applying UX principles throughout the product lifecycle, foster collaboration, and champion a culture of continuous learning.
FACILITATION: Lead immersive training programs and UX bootcamps to upskill teams.

DESIGN ITERATION: Incorporates feedback from users and other partners to refine designs, creating wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to visualize design concepts and user flows, and leads iteration on designs based on feedback to improve user experiences.
COLLABORATION: Coaches product managers, developers and other partners to gain understanding of user needs and business goals while designing visually appealing and user friendly interfaces that align with brand guidelines and improve the overall user experience, and ensures designs are responsive and accessible across various devices and platforms.
DOCUMENTATION DEVELOPMENT: Prepares and reviews user personas, journey maps, and other user experience documentation to support design processes.
BRAND CONSISTENCY: Provides oversight to ensure designs are consistent with brand guidelines and accessibility standards.
USER EXPERIENCE BEST PRACTICES: Researches, coaches other team members and stays up-to-date with industry trends and standard methodologies in user experience design to drive continuous improvement of user experience design practices.
USABILITY TESTING: Teaches usability testing to evaluate the effectiveness of design solutions, analyzes test results and iterates on designs to influence on improvement usability and user satisfaction.
TOOLING: Applies proficiency in product design and prototype tooling and indepth knowledge of user testing software.

The expected salary for this position is $95,000 - $155,000. Fittings: Participate in fit sessions from proto to production, ensuring fit, construction, and material accuracy at each product stage.
Communication: Maintain clear, daily communication with vendors and internal partners regarding updates, approvals, and changes in the assortment.
Presentation: Collaborate with the Director of Design & Product to present design concepts at sketch, proto, and SMS stages. Clearly communicate inspiration and ideas to both the internal design team and cross-functional partners.
Organization: Create and maintain seasonal boards (both physical and digital), keeping them consistently updated following meetings and fittings.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional team members in Product Development, Technical Design, and Merchandising to ensure brand alignment. Also, partner with Marketing and Sales to ensure all products are on time for sales meetings and photoshoots.
Teamwork: Support the Design Team and Director of Design to ensure calendar deadlines are met. Ensure design deliverables are completed on time to support seamless product development and on-time market launches.

The Senior Web Designer and Content Strategist is a strategic member of the Web Communications team. Responsibilities
* Lead & Integrate Digital Strategy: Drive the strategic vision for ung.edu as a top-tier digital platform for recruitment, engagement, and reputation. Partner with SC&M leadership on aligning web with brand campaigns, storytelling, and enrollment strategies.
* Analytics & Optimization: Leverage Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, HotJar...etc,, to measure performance and provide actionable insights. Translate insights into improvements in SEO, GEO, content engagement, and conversion outcomes tied to enrollment and reputation.
* Leadership & Team Development: Supervise and mentor web designers, building capacity in design thinking, accessibility, and data-informed storytelling. * Content & UX Governance: Ensure content strategy, information architecture (IA), accessibility, and UX best practices are implemented consistently. Champion storytelling that is inclusive, student-centered, and on-brand.
* Innovation & Emerging Trends: Monitor evolving trends in UX, SEO, AI-driven content, and digital marketing; recommend and test innovative practices that position UNG as a leader.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
