Your Role The Design Assistant will work with project teams by supporting the project and client delivery process. This includes creating graphics, assembling presentations and 3D modeling. What You Will Do Support Design Directors and Project Architects with the design and delivery of projects Work with design teams to prepare client presentations Assist with 3D modeling and other responsibilities as needed Perform interior design assignments that include programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning and construction documentation Participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, and lighting Assist on generating finish plans, specifications, and material selections needed for construction Provide design support and documentation during completion and execution of design concepts Your Qualifications 1-2 years of interior design experience Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D, Rhino, Octane, Grasshopper, and/or other modeling software programs Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications Graphics and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas Proficient in Adobe Suite, especially Photoshop and InDesign Must be a team player Ability to multi-task in a high paced environment Ability to step in to assist where needed Ability to take initiative and be proactive vs. reactive **The base salary will be estimated between $75,000 - $85,000 plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.
