We are seeking an experienced program and change management professional to help drive the People and Culture team's strategic initiatives. This role sits within the People and Culture team, reporting to the AVP, People Services & Operational Effectiveness. This role will serve as a critical connector between the People and Culture strategic vision and the execution of initiatives that deliver measurable impact. The role ensures projects are implemented efficiently while strengthening business performance and enhancing the employee experience.
The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of HR technology, programs, and processes, along with an understanding of their interdependencies, which will enable effective project planning and execution. From day one, you will have an immediate impact by leading key strategic projects that are both high-priority and highly impactful, shaping the direction and success of our People and Culture function and Group 1001.
How You'll Contribute:
Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including objectives, scope, milestones, timelines, resource allocation, budgets, for People & Culture initiatives using a variety of project management methods. Ensure clear roles and responsibilities are established.
Project Execution: Lead cross-functional project teams (e.g. HR, IT, Finance, vendors), manage tasks/budget, track performance, monitor progress, and mitigate issues. Own and consult solution development with stakeholders and escalating critical decisions to reach alignment.
Communication: Manage communication with project team members and key stakeholders throughout the project life cycle. Plan and oversee the preparation and dissemination of project communications and updates.
Foster Collaboration: Take initiative to establish partnerships and consult with key business stakeholders to foster teamwork, collaboration, and learning within the People & Culture team, contributing to a positive work environment.
Change Management: Develop thorough plans and strategies to assist employees while adapting to changes (e.g. processes, technology, or organizational structure) by overseeing communication, training, and support to minimize resistance, drive adoption, and ensure changes align with business goals.
What We're Looking For:
Requires a BS degree in a business field or equivalent work experience.
Minimum five years' project management experience, including development work and interactions with cross functional team and leadership.
Demonstrated experience with planning, directing, and administering projects in a business and/or technology environment.
Experience with Workday HRIS and Human Resources function strongly preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with ability to understand and manage complex concepts and plans; provide top-level summaries to senior leaders and stakeholders.
Knowledge of project management best practices and current technologies to plan and communicate effectively with project team and management.
Strong knowledge and use of project management tools to create project documents and project status reports, deliverables, and overall project communications.
This is a hybrid position based in our Zionsville, Indiana location.

Responsibilities
Old National Bank is currently seeking to fill the position of Head of Total Rewards. The Head of Total Rewards is a strategic leader reporting directly to the Chief People Officer. As a key member of the HR Leadership Team, this role partners across the organization to shape and execute a forward-thinking total rewards strategy that supports approximately 6,000 team members. With oversight of executive and broad-based compensation, equity, benefits, health and well-being, and HR technology systems, the SeniorDirector drives innovation and alignment with organizational goals. Leveraging data-driven insights and a deep understanding of workforce needs, this leader ensures programs are competitive, inclusive, and responsive-advancing Old National's human capital vision and enhancing the overall team member experience.
Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $136,000 - $279,100 per year. Final compensation will be determined by location, skills, experience, qualifications and the career level at which the position is filled.
Drive Strategic Total Rewards Initiatives
Define and drive the vision for Total Rewards, working in partnership with other members of the business and HR leadership teams.
Help revise, reshape, and drive and elevate the total rewards delivery model.
Oversee all compensation and benefits programs to attract, retain and motivate a high-performing workforce, and continuously improve incentive and bonus plan designs that support our culture, priorities, and business model.
Partner with executive leadership to ensure that all programs support the organization's strategic objectives and are competitive, cost effective and in compliance with legal requirements.
Design and execute forward-thinking, data-driven compensation, benefits, health care and equity programs that align with business goals, drive employee engagement, and drive the wellness of our population.
Prepare and present Rewards and Performance Reports to the Board of Directors Talent Development and Compensation Committee and the Human Capital Executive Committee.
Ensure alignment of compensation programs with enterprise risk management and regulatory expectations for large financial institutions.
Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements, including SEC, tax, and labor laws, heightened standards, while maintaining strong governance across multi-state and complex operational environments.
Work closely with Talent functions and IT to drive the systems strategy and priorities; continue to evolve the use of HR Analytics.
Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing total rewards team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Support project management of HR initiatives including project plan development, financial, technical and resource requirements.
Support M&A and reorganization activities as required.
Ensure compliance and harmonization of programs across multi-state operations.

Qualifications:

Experience preparing and presenting materials to the Board of Directors and Board Committees, translating complex data into strategic insights.
Experience working with Board of Directors' Compensation Committee on all matters related to BOD and Executive Compensation in a public company, including overall competitive compensation positioning, short and long-term incentive design, equity management, tax compliance, SEC regulations, executive agreement design and compliance
Exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to influence and collaborate across all levels.
Strategic thinker with a hands-on, innovative approach to problem-solving and execution.
Experience leading projects, including defining scope, managing budgets, driving deliverables, meeting deadlines, and handling competing priorities.

Job Summary
The Director of Undergraduate Research and Mentor Development provides strategic leadership and vision for the IU Undergraduate Research office, playing a central role in promoting and advancing undergraduate research and creative activities at Indiana University Bloomington (IUB). This position works closely with faculty to foster collaborative partnerships aimed at developing and implementing high-quality undergraduate research opportunities across all academic disciplines.
This position also supervises the IUUR Student Programming Manager, fostering a stronger connection between faculty mentors and undergraduate researchers while ensuring that the programming offered by IUUR meets the needs of both groups.
The Director is also responsible for supporting grant writing and budget management efforts, with a focus on expanding interdisciplinary undergraduate research and experiential learning opportunities for underrepresented students in undergraduate research and creative endeavors.
The Director position is a 12-month academic appointment. This appointment is renewable based on mutually satisfactory performance and the needs of the department.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
* Provide leadership and vision for the IU Undergraduate Research office and VIP Program.
* Supervise the IUUR Student Programming Manager, providing guidance and support for effective program delivery that ensures that the needs of both mentors and students are effectively met.
* Serve as a central resource for defining and tracking undergraduate research and creative activities at IUB through developing and implementing departmental outreach, workshops, and one-on-one consultations.
* Provide continuous support to faculty mentors throughout all stages of program development, ensuring the delivery of high-quality programming that aligns with IUB's standards for experiential learning.
* Analyze data to identify participation gaps and develop strategies to promote access to undergraduate research and creative activities across student populations and disciplines.
* Facilitate collaborations with campus partners to create centralized resources that help students locate opportunities and secure funding to support their research and creative projects.
* Lead or contribute to campus-wide committees and initiatives focused on undergraduate research and creative activities.

Basic Qualifications
* Completed Ph.D. from an accredited four-year institution of higher education with demonstrated expertise in university research and teaching and learning processes.
* Five years of progressive administrative responsibility in supervising, managing, and evaluating the work with college students, faculty, and staff in higher education.
* Experience working with diverse populations and commitment to fostering an inclusive, welcoming environment for faculty, students, and staff.
* Presentation and/or teaching experience at the college level.
* Demonstrated success with program development, implementation, and on-going program assessment.
* Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
* Demonstrated organizational and problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Experience with software commonly utilized in higher education (student information systems, database systems, MS Office, degree audit software, early alert systems, etc.).
