In Colorado, the anticipated base salary for this role is $175,000.00 with potential bonus and equity eligibility. We are looking for a Sr. Director of Global Commodity Engineering to join our Supply Chain Operations team. As part of the team, you play a key role in BOM sourcing for the quality and reliability of our NVIDIA's designed PCBA and systems products. Additionally, you will join thought leadership in supplier and component qualification methods supporting multiple business segments, including Datacenter, Automotive, Industrial, and Consumer.
What you'll be doing:

+ Develop and drive Commodity Strategies for NVIDIA's rapidly growing systems business

+ Champion the BOM Sourcing for Quality framework across all commodities and functional teams for the most robust products possible

+ Demonstrating high energy for collaborating with multiple engineering disciplines to align critical success factors in BOM component selection and qualification methods

+ Ensure robust part validation and component factory qualification, design validation, and identified gap closures

+ Identify reliability risks to ensure staffing and expertise are applied to validate supplier qualification plans, product data sheets, manufacturability, and sub-tier suppliers

+ Ensure procedures/requirements to handle BOM component performance in manufacturing and service operations to ensure continuous improvements and future strategic sourcing considerations.
