EchoStar Corporation is seeking to hire a Sr Director Financial Systems Transformation. This candidate will report to the SVP Controller/CAO. The position will be in Gaithersburg, MD.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, create, and deploy a financial reporting system to support our Finance/Accounting system.Provide thought leadership and process excellence to transform and digitize accounting and finance at EchoStar.Facilitate, develop, and maintain systems and processes to produce more transparent and accurate financial statement reporting while improving efficiency for the finance organization.Lead a team of experts to enable the business units to produce more accurate information.Identify areas for improvement, track the status of actions, and measure results.Partner closely with other functions on their own planning process improvements.Drive greater integration of the planning processes and cycles.Hands-on in development and ongoing support of the system. Manage resources and coordinate cross functional teams and processes.
It is critical that these processes are built in a robust and sustainable manner that will ensure data integrity to the end users.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or related field15+ years' of experience with developing and transforming financial systems10+ years' experience with SAP ERP, HFM, FDMEE, Hyperion planning and/or other reporting applications5+ years' experience with SAP BW and Hyperion Essbase technologies PMP certificate or equivalent program and project management skills
