Position Description and Responsibilities:
BAE Systems is seeking an experienced senior electrical to support our work as a prime contractor on high-profile U.S Navy weapon systems. The Electrical Substation Designer III is responsible for the creation of marked drawings and other documents to show equipment and device layouts and branch circuiting for power, lighting, and auxiliary drawings. Work closely with project manager and take design lead on projects.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Provide calculations and documentation for design of lighting and power systems.
Provide details as required to define and clarify the intent of the design on drawings.
Coordinates with clients, architects, and other discipline engineers to complete drawings.

Perform Title 24 lighting rules and requirements, or any local jurisdiction's energy requirements with no supervision.

Calculate lighting levels and layout fixtures for all traditional spaces. Would require assistance of an Engineer for spaces of high finish, specific application or aesthetic sensitivity.
Select appropriate lighting fixtures and controls from either the Rosendin standards or product lines as appropriate for the project.
Calculate power loads, size feeders, and determine estimated demand load summary for a distribution system.
Perform coordination with all other trades, such as architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, vertical transportation, kitchen equipment and OPCI systems.
Create details as required to define installation for construction.
Run short circuit studies.
Have familiarity with the National Electrical Code and know how to use it as a reference.

Work with the Project Manager to establish and maintain realistic work and labor plans and deliverable schedules that contribute to the project's bottom line financial success and satisfy the project's contractual obligations.
Participate or lead value engineering sessions with Architectural/Engineering team.
Interface effectively with clients and members of the design team.
Recommend improvements with reference standards and processes to improve quality, coordination, and to streamline production efforts.
Review and markup of shop drawings and submittals. Respond to RFI's and review of change orders in the preparation of construction documents.
Responsible for projects' construction administration. Conduct job site visits to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress. Attend and participate in construction meetings. Site visits frequently require a physical walk-through of site.
Applies knowledge of electrical and building codes in building systems design.
May perform other related tasks as needed.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Minimum of 10 years of related experience required.
Current PE in Electrical Engineering in the United States required.
LEED accreditation preferred.
Advanced knowledge of electrical engineering.
Ability to serve in QAQC process and as an independent reviewer.

The salary range for this position is $121,170.00 - $151,410.00 annually. This salary range is the range we believe is the anticipated range of possible base compensation at the timing of the posting. As a Project Engineer, you'll play a key role in bringing Giga's electrical infrastructure projects to life. Requirements

Proficiency in Autodesk drafting tools and ability to produce and iterate on site plans.
Excellent communication skills and comfort collaborating across disciplines (utilities, electricians, suppliers, internal teams).

Position Purpose:

Daily reporting of equipment and machinery performance to the Maintenance Manager.
What you bring:
Bachelor's degree in related field, technical or trade school certification, or equivalent preferred.
5+ years' practical experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment working with automated electrical equipment.
Prior experience in a supervisor capacity in a manufacturing environment.

The Electrical Supervisor will lead and motivate a team of Shift Electricians and PM Electrical and Instrumentation Technicians, which includes scheduling, payroll, training, development, and safety of all employees in the electrical department.
What you will be doing:
* Oversee and lead an effective electrical maintenance program that allows for consistent equipment availability and minimizes impact on production.
* Work closely with operations and within the maintenance department to determine equipment time, parts, and tools necessary for scheduled work orders and outages.
* Execute an effective preventative maintenance program that includes a daily follow-up of PM tasks and ensuring that new tasks are entered and scheduled in the PM system.
* Provide training and coaching to employees within area of responsibility.
* Coordinate and execute training of new initiatives within the electrical department.
* Accountable for all budgetary items within the electrical area of maintenance.
* Daily reporting of equipment and machinery performance to the Maintenance Manager.
What you bring:
* Bachelor's degree in related field, technical or trade school certification, or equivalent preferred.
* 5+ years' practical experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment working with automated electrical equipment.
* Prior experience in a supervisor capacity in a manufacturing environment.
* Proficient knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)/Automation, specifically Siemens and Endress+Hauser instrumentation.

**Basic Qualifications**
+ Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, a related discipline or relevant work experience
