The Senior Project Engineer contributes to the successful design, fabrication, and installation of architectural and structural building systems. Working as part of an integrated team within a specific business unit, applies engineering, project management, problem solving, and communication skills across all levels and disciplines within the organization. The Senior Project Engineer, under the direction of Senior Project Manager or Function Manager, significantly contributes to project success.

Qualifications:

Responsibilities:
Our engineers are responsible for delivery of complex construction packages including tool installation design. Youll be accountable for schedule and technical quality of assigned routine engineering tasks. As you gain familiarity with the clients expectations, scope, budget and schedule for assigned tasks, youll effectively recognize and communicate scope and design changes promptly. Youll coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead. You will work in a multi-discipline collaborative team environment. You will produce single-line diagrams depicting electrical power systems 208Y/120V through 480V, installation details, electric room layouts, tool installation connection diagrams, cable tray layouts, cable schedules, power plans, lighting plans, breaker coordination studies, and Arc Flash / Short-Circuit Current studies. You will support senior engineers in selection and specification of electrical equipment. Duties may also include providing on-site assistance during startups.

Key Responsibilities:

* Participate in fieldwork, site visits, inspections, and testing as needed.

Qualifications:

The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Perform project scoping, scheduling, and cost estimating
Perform short circuit, load flow, and relay coordination studies

Develop equipment specifications and construction specifications

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university, Master's degree is a plus

Ability to develop and communicate technical information to clients
Salary Range: $105,000 - $130,000, depending on experience
