What You'll Do: As a Design Engineer II in the Sacramento area, you'll be the go-to expert for electrical distribution design and constructability, leading projects across overhead, underground, and system hardening initiatives. You'll take start-to-finish ownership of projects, from performing pole loading calculations and conducting pole analysis, to updating maps, creating AutoCAD drawings, surveying existing facilities, and delivering construction-ready design packages to field teams. You'll frequently collaborate with internal teams, coordinating across multiple moving parts to keep projects on track and ensure quality and accuracy. You'll also meet with clients and construction crews to review designs, discuss project execution, and ensure the final deliverables meet client expectations.
