Electrical Engineering Leader
Enginuity Advantage
Senior electrical engineer job in Seattle, WA
Job Description
Lead ElectricalEngineering. Shape What Gets Built Next.
At some point in an engineering career, the question shifts.
It's no longer
“Can I design this?”
It becomes
“Can I elevate the work, the team, and the outcomes?”
If you're a seniorElectricalEngineer who enjoys solving complex building challenges and mentoring others, this role offers the chance to do both - at a firm where your experience will genuinely influence how projects are designed, delivered, and evolved.
Why This Role Is Different
This is not a “hands-off” management position - and it's not a heads-down production role either.
You'll sit at the intersection of technical leadership, project impact, and people development, guiding electrical system design across commercial and light industrial projects while helping shape the future of the electrical discipline within the firm.
Your expertise will matter here. Your judgment will be trusted. And your voice will help set standards that others follow.
What You'll Be Doing (In Plain Language)
Leading the electrical vision across multiple building projects - ensuring designs are thoughtful, coordinated, and buildable
Serving as the senior technical authority for power distribution, lighting, communications, fire detection, controls, and utility coordination
Reviewing and stamping electrical documents with confidence and care
Working closely with mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and project management teams to deliver fully integrated systems
Mentoring engineers and designers - sharing knowledge, raising the bar, and helping others grow
Helping guide department direction, workload planning, and long-term capability development
Staying curious about emerging technologies, sustainability strategies, and smarter ways to design buildings
The Kind of Engineer Who Thrives Here
You've likely been doing this work for a long time - and you're still energized by it.
You enjoy solving complex technical challenges, but you also care deeply about
how
the work gets done and
who
is doing it alongside you.
You might be:
A seniorengineer ready to step into a broader leadership role
A current department lead looking for a more balanced, people-centered environment
