York Building Products is one of the largest concrete products manufacturers in the USA and we have had involvement in the construction industry for over 80 years. York Building Products is a subsidiary of the Stewart Companies, a York, PA based, family-owned and operated group of companies serving the construction, materials, real estate, and automotive industries.

The Senior Laborer is responsible for assisting with the safe operation of a Stone processing plant in order to maximize the production of stone for the construction industry. The Senior Laborer will assist with daily production reporting and with basic maintenance activities to include greasing and lubricating process equipment, plant housekeeping and machinery maintenance/repair and welding. The Senior Laborer may also assist with a variety of functions with manual labor tasks as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

+ Operate assigned equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

+ Understand and follow all Federal, State, Local, and Corporate safety regulations and policies.

+ Must be able to assist with safely operating a large industrial Stone plant. Plant is automated and controls are all performed via a computer.

+ Assist with routine inspection and maintenance on plant equipment.

+ Ability to be able to assist with plant repairs, maintenance and housekeeping.

+ Assist with maintaining material quality.

+ Maintains constant awareness of safety, efficiency and displays a flexibility and out of the box thinking with the capability to solve problems.

+ Communicate production and maintenance needs to plant management.

+ Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

+ Day shift position, must be willing to work overtime and weekends as necessary.

+ Prior experience operating aggregate plant.

+ Experience with aggregate screens, conveyors, material washers-scrubbers and centrifugal pumps a plus.

+ Work outdoors in all in all weather conditions.

+ Must have basic computer skills and be able to perform plant record keeping.

+ Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

+ Work outside in all types of weather.

PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES:

What you'll do

As a GES Employment Tax Senior, you will:

+ Work on a wide range of client engagements and perform research, write technical advice, project management and compliance activities whilst exceeding expectations.

+ Support employment tax due diligence, advisory, planning and compliance services.

+ Identify engagement opportunities and coordinate with engagement leadership to deliver the breadth of Global Employer Services to the client.

+ Support the development and marketing of new services to clients and targets

+ Supervise staff members in the performance of engagement deliverables and support them in their career development.

+ Collaborate with client engagement leaders to address budgeting, billing and engagement administration.

The Team

As an Employment Tax Manager, you will be part of the Global Employer Services ("GES") team. Our GES tax consultants help clients develop tax-aligned compensation and benefits programs that address their international and domestic needs. Our consultants come from global mobility, compensation and benefits backgrounds and work with clients to streamline business operations while managing the scalability, risks, and costs of programs. Qualifications

Required

+ Bachelor's degree in accounting, human resources, international business, finance, economics, cross-cultural studies, or other liberal arts majors; ideally, with a related minor degree (for example, an accounting major and human resources

+ minor)

+ 3+ years of experience in employment tax, global personal income tax compliance and consulting, global compensation rewards, transactions, mobility consulting, and/or global talent strategy consulting

+ Experience in managing client relationships

+ At least one of the following accreditations is preferred:

+ Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office

+ Licensed attorney

+ Enrolled Agent

+ Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

+ Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
