Responsibilities Leading systems engineering for PMO; overseeing and helping to direct development teams, integration, and fielding processes. Implementing test plan, mitigation plans, and delivery plans. Preparing design documents and presentations. Clearly describing the design, including rationale for decision and implications of decisions. Applying senior level engineering knowledge and systems analysis concepts and techniques to develop and apply solutions to engineering, scientific, or management problems. Developing and executing test and evaluation plans, procedures, and reports, and recommending designs and/or alternative approaches to design that provide the optimum solution to balance project needs at various life-cycle stages. Defining and overseeing verification & validation testing, configuration management, and interface controls. Applying engineering principles to perform function, such as system integration, configuration management and quality assurance testing. Performing advanced hardware and software information technology assessment, design, and implementation. Providing systems analysis and performance monitoring for security and availability; planning for mitigation of critical infrastructure. Proven experience in DMSMS management, obsolescence mitigation/systems engineering/project management experience Requirements Minimum of 5-10 years experience in system engineering. Must have experience with software development, preferably for cloud applications. Familiarity with integrated databases (such as MySQL). Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must have the knowledge and skills to manage multiple projects, keeping track of and identifying new tasks or adjusting existing tasks and expectations as projects evolve. Must have proven social and interpersonal skills to coordinate with a team of professionals who are both technical and non-technical to keep everyone on task and progressing forward. Excellent writing, oral communication and organizational skills. Education Bachelor's Degree in related field required, advanced degree preferred. Travel 0 - 25% Salary at CEXEC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected total compensation range (monetary and non-monetary) nationally for this position is $95,948 to $295,914 (annualized USD).
