Role Overview
Our client is a high-complexity, engineering-driven precision manufacturing organization supporting advanced aerospace and defense programs. The work centers on true 5-axis machining-tight tolerances, difficult materials, and NPI-heavy programs executed on world-class equipment.
This is not a desk-only CAM role. This role is for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer who owns how parts are made from cradle to grave-from CAD model and machining strategy through validated production-while working directly on the shop floor during setups, prove-outs, and first-run builds.

Responsibilities
Program complex 5-axis CNC components using Siemens NX
Develop, optimize, and validate advanced multi-axis toolpaths for high-complexity parts
Support and troubleshoot CNC machines running Siemens and Heidenhain controls
Lead CNC programming and process development for: New Product Introduction (NPI), First-article builds, Complex and repeat production programs
Own machining processes end-to-end, from CAD model through validated production
Define and optimize probing strategies to ensure accuracy and repeatability
Design and refine fixturing and workholding solutions for complex multi-axis machining
Collaborate closely with machinists, quality, and engineering teams during setups and prove-outs
Optimize cycle time, tool life, process stability, and process repeatability
Create, maintain, and standardize: Production-ready CNC programs, Setup sheets and documentation, Engineering and machining standards
Provide hands-on shop-floor support for troubleshooting and continuous improvement
Qualifications:
5-10+ years of CNC programming and manufacturing experience
Proven experience programming 5-axis CNC machining centers
Strong proficiency in Siemens NX (multi-axis, surfacing, complex toolpaths)
Familiarity with Siemens and/or Heidenhain CNC controls
Background in aerospace, defense, or other high-complexity machining environments
Solid understanding of: GD&T, Fixturing and probing strategies, Material behavior and machinability

The individual will formulate strategic decisions and recommendations that impact the nuclear fuel and reactor engineering functional area. Additionally, this position will be called upon to provide coaching and mentoring to less experienced personnel within Nuclear Fuel and Analysis / Reactor Engineering. This position will be required to augment Nuclear Fuel and Analysis / Reactor Engineering perform functions (e.g. fuel manufacturing oversight, fuel design changes, operating domain evaluations, etc.) at the request of the Nuclear Fuel and Analysis leadership team. About the team
The CI/CD Pipeline Engineer is a key member of the Capital Markets Architecture Team. This team is focused on enabling all Capital Market line-of-business Product Teams on their CI/CD journey and promoting a DevSecOps culture across FIS. Part of this enablement includes designing and engineering a new Unified CI/CD Platform that product teams can leverage to accelerate their time to value.
What you will be doing
As a CI/CD Pipeline Engineer your role will be to accelerate the usage of the Unified CI/CD Platform for building, testing, packaging, deploying, and monitoring product team software.
Working closely with pipeline architects and fellow engineers, you will be part of the design and develop the Unified CI/CD Platform roadmap and engage with product teams on their CI/CD journey.
You will have access to FIS resources and collaborate with a large community of engineers and architects to help enrich FIS and Capital Markets DevOps culture, patterns and practices.
· Design and develop common configurations and reusable components for the Unified CI/CD Platform.
· Design and develop IaC, scripting and configurations to support product-level Delivery Pipelines.
· Lead discussions with line-of-business teams while engaged in enablement projects.
· Participate in guided and self-paced training on FIS policies and CI/CD expertise.
· Contribute to centralized Capital Markets DevOps tooling, patterns and practices.

This position will serve as an extension of the functional area leadership for reactor engineering. We are currently seeking a SeniorEngineer to work in our Birmingham, AL office in the Waste & Recycling Division. The Waste & Recycling Division is focused on providing solid waste engineering, environmental, and construction services to our solid waste clients. The SeniorEngineer is principally responsible for planning and design development and teaching and mentoring junior engineering staff. The SeniorEngineer will manage all project responsibilities of multi-discipline teams. The projects are challenging and provide unique design and project management opportunities.
Duties:
Responsible for planning, scheduling, developing, coordinating, directing, and managing large and small design and master planning projects with many complex features.
Projects will include solid-waste related site development projects (i.e., landfills, transfer stations, convenience sites): developing master plans, design drawings, design of stormwater management and erosion control systems, technical specifications, and cost estimates.
Preparing various types of related reports and studies and secure permitting for projects.
Developing and evaluating plans and criteria for a variety of projects as well as planning and coordinating activities to be carried out by others including in-house engineers, designers, and geologists and outside specialty consultants.
Position includes teaching and mentoring of younger staff located in offices throughout the Mid-Atlantic.
Position will require travel to other offices and clients' facilities to better understand site conditions and design considerations and to monitor construction progress.
Requirements
Minimum requirements include a BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Licensed Professional Engineer with 10 to 15 years of experience, including solid waste or closely related projects.
Knowledge of AutoCAD.
Ideal candidate has the traits of a team player who is enthusiastic about all aspects of engineering and project management and can lead projects from planning and preliminary engineering through design and construction.
Must have good communication skills and be able to teach and mentor junior staff as well as communicate effectively with project team members, regulators and clients.
Willing and capable of traveling throughout the Mid-Atlantic.

OVERVIEW

RESPONSIBILITIES
Key technical contact for customers.

Develop Bill of Materials for Kitchen and Industrial Systems to support sales and customers.
Make decisions and judgments on customer issues.

Act as a liaison between the customer and the engineering department.

Meet weekly with planning and manufacturing to confirm production and delivery schedules.
