This position is responsible for the detailed engineering design and overall project management of upstream facilities projects in the Permian basin. Role is responsible for overall infrastructure management of assigned area and for interfacing with reservoir, planning, drilling, completions, water resources, production, supply chain, accounting, land, legal, regulatory, marketing, environmental, and safety teammates. Ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in all facets of onshore facilities design, with a strong emphasis on safety, regulatory, and environmental practices. Position will be located in EOG's Midland Texas office. Periodic travel to field locations will be required. Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience. * Serve as a safety leader within the division organization. * Function as infrastructure manager for assigned area. * Develop and maintain hydraulic models for gas, oil, and produced water systems. Manage detailed pipeline design, along with interfacing with land and regulatory teams to acquire ROW and permits. * Manage the design, installation, expansion, and commissioning of central production facilities. * Serve as project manager for oil, gas, and produced water pipeline projects. * Create process simulation models for production facilities. * Lead development of equipment specifications. * Forecast equipment, valves, fittings, and pipe needs. Specific Responsibilities A Production Engineer Sr - Artificial Lift is a member of the production engineering team that should expect to spend 3-4 days in the field each week. This role reports to the asset production engineering manager. They work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize production, reduce costs, and implement artificial lift strategies. Duties will include analyzing production data, identifying areas for improvement, implementing process enhancements, troubleshooting equipment issues, and collaborating closely with Production Operations. They also provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and production staff. Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and repair VFD control boards and electronic components down to the circuit level. Assist repair technicians in diagnosing and solving recurring board issues. Develop and improve testing and repair methods for electronic systems. Perform advanced soldering (through-hole and surface mount) and component replacement. Use diagnostic tools such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, DC power supplies, and thermal imaging cameras. Support equipment breakdown, assembly, and testing in the shop and in the field. Read and interpret electrical schematics and reverse-engineer circuits as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional repair environment. Qualifications: Formal degree preferred (Electrical Engineering or related) but not required with equivalent hands-on experience. Proven experience with PCB-level diagnostics and component-level repairs. Strong soldering skills (surface mount and through-hole). Working knowledge of integrated circuits and electrical component testing. VFD repair experience is highly desirable. Prior work in the Oil & Gas sector is a plus.
