Performs interdisciplinary coordination checks to minimize deficiencies, errors, and omissions in engineering deliverables. * Assist with preparation of design criteria for all assigned projects and assures compliance with project and client requirements. * Producing well-organized structural engineering drawings, calculations, and specifications. * Participate in bid reviews when requested and the 30%, 60%, and 90% design reviews on all assigned projects. * Construction Support: * Review shop drawings and submittals for specification compliance in a timely manner. * Participate in appropriate preconstruction/preparatory meetings. * Perform site visits and prepares observation/follow-up phase reports documenting progress and deficiencies. * Review all structural-related testing and inspection reports. * Respond to all RFIs and provides construction support as required. * Profitability/Planning/Scheduling: * Assist with scope definition, budget and schedule estimates for proposal development. * Monitor assigned project progress and keeps appraised of deadlines and advises the technical lead.

These positions, located at the White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) in White Sands, New Mexico, will provide engineering, technical, logistics, and administrative support in the planning, maintenance, preparation, execution, launch operations and post-test phases to the W Department of the Navy Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD). Primary Functions: Research, design, modify, develop, and evaluate systems, products, components, and applications by applying fundamental RF engineering principles. Apply engineering principles in area of system to include RF, power, AC/DC circuit, communications, and software principles. Confirm system's and components' capabilities by designing testing methods; testing properties and conducts testing events Assure product quality by designing testing methods; testing finished products and system capabilities. Troubleshoot and resolve satellite/radio frequency antenna systems issues. Responsible for antenna fabrication, characterization and verification. Responsible for the fabrication, characterization and verification for ground-based systems, emitters /receivers and related assemblies. Responsible for creating and providing a verification plan and test report for all fabrications. May evaluate field installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate system malfunctions. Conduct research into design studies.
