Principal Mechanical Engineer
We're looking for a Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our R&D and equipment design team to help build the next generation of thin‑film deposition technology. The Principal Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the design and implementation of advanced R&D equipment and complex machinery. Job Summary
We are looking for a Project Engineer with 2-5 years of hands-on experience working for a general contractor. The ideal candidate will assist Project Managers and Superintendents in coordinating all aspects of commercial construction projects, from submittals and RFIs to closeout. Proficiency in Procore is essential, as it's our primary project management software.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in managing project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and closeout packages using Procore.
Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, engineers, and owners to ensure smooth project execution.
Track project schedules, budgets, and progress; prepare reports and updates.
Support quality control, safety compliance, and on-site coordination.
Review plans, specifications, and contracts for accuracy and compliance.
Handle procurement, material tracking, and logistics.
Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem-solving.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience as a Project Engineer or similar role with a general contractor (commercial projects preferred).
Proven hands-on experience with Procore software (e.g., managing drawings, submittals, RFIs, daily logs, and financials).
Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar tools is a plus.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
