The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the project manager and project team with project documentation and control, job cost accounting, scheduling, and construction supervision efforts. Responsibilities
Read and know the contract documents and specifications thoroughly, noting errors, omissions, conflicts, or need for additional information.
Assist superintendent to ensure the quality of installation is in accordance with the project's plans and specifications and BCG Policies and Procedures. Prepare preparatory checklist for all definable features of work.
Assist Superintendent with the RFI Process, which may include the following; communication with subcontractor, superintendent, owner, architect including distribution of RFI's and creation and maintenance of RFI Log.
Assist Superintendent in timely resolution of engineering conflicts.
Assist superintendent, if necessary, with maintenance and distribution of project schedule.
Assist PM in procurement/buy-out process, as requested, including writing and/or reviewing detailed project scopes.
Create, maintain and distribute control logs for contract documents, i.e. plans, specifications, bulletins, CCD's, PR's, etc.
Coordinate the material procurement process including creation and maintenance of MSR (Material Status Report) Log. Maintain constant communication with superintendent and project manager relative to coordination of materials fabrication and arrival on site.
Develop, administer, monitor, and maintain a detailed Shop Drawing and Material Status report which is saved to the "Q" drive as changes occur and includes receipt/distribution of submittals, shop drawings, samples, calculations, etc. ROJ dates shall be developed in conjunction with Superintendent and project schedule.
Coordinate material/subcontractor deliveries in accordance with project schedule, and notify Project Manger of any issues.
Assist PM in documenting project meetings through meeting minute format - provide distribution to all parties
Assist PM with cost control functions, i.e. pricing of additional work through bulletins, direct owner requests, etc. Request, receive, log in and validate subcontractor quotes, submit to PM for review prior to the assembly of change request documentation.
Participate in developing and maintaining a fair and just working relationship with with the Owner's, Architect, Engineer, Consultants, AHJ, etc. which will result in both project specific success and long-term benefit.
Administer close-out procedure from start to finish with assistance from project manager, project coordinator and superintendent. Process includes close-out log, assembling and packaging of maintenance manuals, as-built drawings, warranties, and other documents in fashion acceptable to owner/architect, as well as coordination with subcontractor and superintendent for commissioning/training as required. Responsible for tracking of attic stock materials through subcontractor and superintendent.
Assist superintendent with the Punch List process as required. Communicate non-compliant subcontractors with project manager and accounting in order to withhold money until subcontractor is compliant.
Perform additional assignments per Project Manager's direction.
Maintain professionalism during work hours in support of Braun Construction Group's image.
Actively market Braun Construction Group services to potential clients. Communicate potential leads to business development manager and project executive.
Provide subcontractor evaluations to Vice President Operations and Estimating.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience preferred

Job Description:
This position is for a mechanical engineer to design, develop and release LRU mounting, shock and vibration attenuation mounting, radio racks, brush guards, and all aspects of stowage on military ground vehicles.
Depending on workload demands, this person may also work in other areas such as fuel systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automatic fire suppression systems, driver controls, lighting, crew seating, and other mechanical subsystems.
Responsibilities:
Design and integrate shock/vibration LRU mounts, complete stowage packaging, and other mechanical elements into military vehicles. This will include working with suppliers to develop the subsystems and design components to meet vehicle performance requirements including human factors, safety, environmental and mine blast requirements.
Apply mechanics of materials, material selection, welding, and fabrication principles for mechanical components and complex welded brackets, mounting provisions.
Decompose vehicle performance requirements in order to perform system analysis and select appropriate components such as sensors, cables, handles, springs, pedals, and mechanisms and conduct detailed design of fluid system custom components.
Generate key characteristics, component specifications and perform component selection for supplier purchased parts.
Support various projects by doing analysis & design, drawing mark-ups, tolerance stacks and generating source data for engineering changes.
Write material requests and shop work requests, track delivery and stock of parts, participate in integration reviews, fit checks, and write reports.
Provide support to prototype and production vehicle build and follow-up, technical corrective action formulation, troubleshooting and redesign activities.
Present design concepts and program status to functional and program management.
Write test plans and perform testing and evaluation of systems.
Direct and oversee CAD model and drawing development.
Conduct failure analysis and corrective action along with responsible for technical writing and presentations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (preferred), Mechatronics, or related field, from an ABET accredited program.
10+ years of engineering experience in the defense, aerospace, or automotive industry. Military land vehicle experience is preferred.
Prior experience with Teamcenter and Vis Mockup.
Experience creating and releasing components, assembly models, and detailed drawings using NX or Creo.
Experience creating drawings in accordance with ASME Y14.100 standards.
Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing in accordance with ASME Y14.5.
Basic Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat skills are required.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and self-start.
Mind-set to work collaboratively in a team environment for program success.
Experience supporting prototype and/or production build activities.

Your Impact

What You'll Contribute to OHM Advisors
As a Drinking Water Technical Lead in the Environmental and Water Resources Group (EWRG), you will support a range of water resources projects across the Midwest. The EWRG is a diverse 40+ person team looking for talented engineers with a passion for water resources. EWRG works on a variety of water, wastewater, and stormwater projects including modeling of distribution and collection systems, asset management, stream restoration, green infrastructure, and a range of facility designs.

Your Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership on drinking water projects for communities ranging from 1,000 to 100,000 in population, including planning level design of transmission main, distribution systems, pumping stations, and storage facilities.
Ability to perform and to mentor and train staff in the following:
Growth and demand projections.
Development, calibration, and maintenance of hydraulic models for drinking water systems.
Capacity analyses, fire flow analyses, and scenarios planning for growth, resiliency, and redundancy.
Evaluating system performance under a variety of operational and emergency conditions.
Providing recommendations for system improvements including water main, pumping, and storage improvements.
Master planning, capital planning, feasibility studies, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
Prepare and/or review clear, well-structured technical reports, presentations, and data visualizations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Work closely with engineers, planners, and operators to interpret model results and communicate findings.
Coordinate directly with clients throughout project delivery, serving as their trusted point of contact.
Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their priorities, anticipating needs, and providing responsive technical support.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or experience in drinking water system planning.
Ideal candidate will have at least five to ten years of water resources related experience, specifically in Drinking Water.
Professional Engineer license desirable but not required.
Experience with drinking water infrastructure analysis, planning, and design.
Experience working with GIS and with hydraulic modeling programs such as EPA-Net, InfoWater, InfoWater Pro, and/or WaterGEMS is preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
