Will guide and lead development processes, develop the team composition, and will be responsible for training.
Candidate will work directly with systems engineering teams and coordinate requirements identification, development and acceptance testing of software deliveries.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued secret security clearance is required.
Ability to matrix multiple programs and development tasks while supporting the various projects objectives of cost and schedule.

The business focus area of the position is the Regional Business Aircraft (RBA) and Air Transport (AT) Products and Programs in its Fort Wayne, IN facility. This position will report to the Air Transport Market Program Director. Internal and external customer relationships are important in this role and the PEM is considered to be a primary touch point for airlines, Maintenance Repair Organizations (MROs), aircraft OEMs and flight control system integrators.The PEM establishes and manages an effective team to support mostly commercial aircraft aftermarket programs to meet established cost, schedule and technical requirements. The PEM provides inputs to technical product support activities on proposals. Works with Production Program Manager(s), Service Center Program Manager(s) and relevant support functions in the execution of assigned projects and programs.
The PEM will also be responsible to identify Aftermarket Value Added Services (VAS) derived from product obsolescence and field reliability improvements to create overhauls, fleet upgrade campaigns and trade-ins resulting in BAE Systems Sales and Revenue growth. VAS projects will require reliability data analysis, understanding of product structure and make inputs in the creation of business cases supporting “Request for Bid Approvals” (RBA's) internal to BAE Systems. Interaction with OEM airframe customer support and fleet customer support will be required to determine fleet back fit and forward fit compatibility to implement VAS projects. The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

What you will do- This position is responsible for planning, organizing and managing the Engineering & Maintenance Department at a Battery manufacturing facility. * Supervises product, process, plant, manufacturing, and engineering projects with the goal to improve process capabilities, drive down cost, and improve ease of manufacturing.
* Directly assist all departments with improving Safety, Environmental, Quality, Productivity and Delivery. Accomplished through many means, such as capacity improvements, capital expenditures, complexity reductions, lean improvements, equipment maintenance improvements, design improvements, etc.
* Provide hands-on manufacturing support to operations to decrease downtime through TPM initiatives.
* Directs annual budget preparation and allocation of capital funding and the subsequent execution.
* Manage, train, and coach direct reports on project components to maintain timelines, project tasks, and cost structures.
* Ability to drive continuous improvement in 5S/workplace organization.
* Responsible for the design, modification and maintenance of all plant facilities.
* Ability to multitask, manage projects and build cohesive teams to meet targets and objectives.
