**What We're Looking For**
+ 2 - 5 years of experience in a Sales Engineering Manager position.
+ Prior experience as a Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, etc.
+ Demonstrated expertise in the IT sales channel landscape, including a strong understanding of distribution models, reseller networks, and partner ecosystems.
+ Experience working with IT security vendors (e.g. Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, IBM, Fortinet, Checkpoint, Cisco, Thales, Imperva, Forescout, Trend Micro, etc.)
+ Background in services and/or systems administration is a plus.

**Qualifications You Must Have:**
+ Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience **or** an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team; oversee recruitment, training, performance management, and mentorship.

Engineering & Project Management
Oversee all aspects of engineering operations including:
New product development
Project management
Risk analysis
Process documentation and workflow optimization
Prioritize and manage engineering projects from concept through production, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality and cost objectives.
Review, refine, and implement engineering standards and best practices to improve efficiency and scalability.
Technical Responsibilities
Design and configure complex Bills of Materials (BOMs), work instructions, and schematics for electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Provide hands-on technical oversight and troubleshooting support to the production floor.
Perform product cost analysis and lead cost-reduction efforts through material selection, design optimization, and process enhancements.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and internal quality standards.
Maintain accurate documentation for all engineering processes, designs, and performance metrics.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (required); advanced degree a plus.
10+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, with a minimum of 5 years leading or managing an engineering team.
Preferably involving truck, automotive, or mobile equipment.
Proven track record of leading or managing an engineering team.
Proficiency in 3D CAD software, preferably Autodesk Inventor.
Experience with FEA, GD&T, and Design for Manufacturability principles.
Familiarity with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) or a similar structured business framework is preferred.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems; hands-on troubleshooting experience preferred.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with PLM systems is a plus.
