JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges. JOB SUMMARY - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES A Department Manager III serves as the senior manager of a technical or administrative-focused department or group and is responsible for the organization, tasking, prioritization, and management of all projects and personnel within the Enterprise. The employee leads the Enterprise and directs and administers the programs of a technical and administrative nature to accomplish the functional task and overall development of the department and serves as a policy maker. Employee will be responsible for the following functions/duties: Directly responsible to the Nevada Test and Training Range (NTTR) JT4 Vice President in overseeing the JTech II contract in all facets of Sustainment and Developmental Engineering Support. Track and manage projects, both internal and using outside vendors, in the areas of scope, cost, and schedule. Evaluate technical solutions and approaches to design, build, and testing activities to ensure sound methodologies are applied. Lead JT4 efforts in the establishment of statements of work for vendor products, services and support to achieve NTTR goals.
