Join our team to drive sales and support our customers within our target industries. Our equipment is used across food, dairy, beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical, waste water, ethanol and petroleum processing industries in a variety of ways. We are looking for both Sales Engineers and Sales Managers who are passionate about customer relations and sales. You will be responsible for selling GEA's centrifuge, homogenizers or pumps and valves product portfolios in different regions across the United States of America.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Sales Engineers:
Account Management: Establish and maintain accounts by analyzing the market and determining customer needs to achieve sales targets.
Technical Presentations: Prepare and deliver technical and sales presentations at industry seminars and to customers.
Cost Estimates & Quotations: Assist in preparing cost estimates and quotations by reviewing project plans and consulting with engineers and other technical personnel.
Process Improvements: Analyze cost-benefit ratios of equipment to determine improvements for customer applications.
Project Handoffs: Ensure clear communication and handoff to the project management team.
Technical Support: Assist service engineers in field testing and troubleshooting.
Sales Managers:
Sales Leadership: Drive territory equipment sales and service activities, ensuring alignment with overall business goals. Allocate resources effectively and prioritize initiatives to maximize market impact.
Strategic Implementation: Support the execution of local equipment and service sales strategies. Position product offerings to enhance competitiveness and achieve order and margin intake targets.
Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. Serve as the key account manager, ensuring customers are informed of all available products and services.
Market Expansion: Drive sales and service growth, expanding market reach and coverage within the territory. Monitor market trends to stay ahead of the competitive landscape.
Quotation & Pricing: Develop detailed quotations, understand customer requirements, and assist in defining pricing strategies to ensure margin contribution and competitiveness.
Change Management & Leadership: Lead change management initiatives, applying entrepreneurial competencies and strong leadership skills to drive organizational success.
Travel: Extensive travel (50-70%) throughout the territory to build and strengthen customer relationships and identify new business opportunities.
Your Profile / Qualifications
Requirements for Both Roles:
Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of recent sales or technical experience in processing equipment in any of the industries we support
Education: Undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering, Business Administration or other relevant courses, or equivalent years of experience
Technical Communication: Proficient in understanding and communicating technical data and engineering systems.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, able to work well both independently and in a team setting.
Travel: Willingness to travel overnight approximately 2-3 nights per week, with infrequent additional trips to Germany headquarters.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, as the Plant Engineering Manager you'll develop and implement overall plant technical strategies focused on engineering projects, maintenance and stores improvement programs. Work with Platform Engineering Director to resource projects including Engineering Project Manager, Subject Matter Expert and Startup Manager roles.
Support the Plant in conducting internal systems audits.
Support the Plant in providing direction and lead the EM Pillar Team in the development of long and short-term plans and goals for the Plant.
Support the Plant in providing project and technical support to the plant and division.
Support the Plant in participating on and leading project teams that improve safety, quality, utilization, labor relations, sanitation, costs and customer service.
Communication with various departments and managers to ensure plant resources are efficiently utilized in maximizing true efficiency.
Manage the Utilities team and ensure functionality and compliance within our plant utilities processes such as: Refrigeration, Ammonia, Nitrogen, Steam, Natural Gas and Compressed Air.
Lead the Plant in preparing and conducting necessary team meetings for proper communications and development of teams. Must also have the ability to work with Maintenance, Quality, Production and Warehouse teams to create a cooperative environment.
Give work direction and coordinating mechanical and clerical activities in the maintenance department.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
5 + years' experience in Food Manufacturing.
Leadership skills to work as a peer mentor and advisor to other departments.
Ability to rotate shifts and work weekends and holidays when required
Experience communicating with all levels at the plant and experience making presentations to all levels
Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar.
Experience with SAP or other ERP applications.

This position is a non-union position with the following compensation range:
Step 1 - $95,404.62
Step 2 - $98,054.75
Step 3 - $100,704.87
Step 4 - $103,355.00
Step 5 - $106,005.13
*Yearly cost of living adjustment (COLA) and market adjustments may be in addition to the above listed salary step increases. Step increases may occur after six months, one year, two years, three years from date of hire.
**This position may also be eligible for a yearly departmental MERIT payment of 2.5% after one year of hire per personnel policy guidelines.

Responsibilities What You'll Do
Lead and manage construction-phase services for roadway and infrastructure projects of varying size and complexity.
Act as the on-site project lead, overseeing construction progress, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
Serve as the main liaison between clients, contractors, and MSA during active construction, ensuring effective communication and successful project delivery.
Provide constructability feedback to design teams, enhancing the quality and efficiency of future projects.
Conduct field observations, construction staking, and inspection activities to verify compliance with project plans and specifications.
Supervise and mentor field staff, ensuring safety, quality, and technical accuracy in all work performed.
Review and manage submittals, pay requests, change orders, and other construction administration tasks.
Maintain accurate project documentation, progress reports, and communication logs.
Participate in pre-construction and progress meetings with clients and contractors.
Contribute to business development by maintaining strong client relationships and supporting proposal development for future work.
Support close-out activities including inspections, punch lists, and final documentation.
Qualifications What You Bring
Associate degree in Civil, Environmental, or Architectural Engineering Technology (Bachelor's degree preferred).
6+ years of experience in roadway construction management, surveying, or related infrastructure construction services.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and field crews simultaneously.
Strong understanding of roadway construction methods, materials, and specifications.
Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), survey equipment and various field-testing instrumentation
Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, contractors, and the public.
Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
Professional or project management certifications preferred (e.g., PMP, CCM, or related).

The salary for this position ranges from $79,081 to $125,530 per year commensurate with experience. Higher compensation within this range will be paid to candidates with significant experience and exceptional qualifications.
