Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Meets maintenance operational standards by contributing maintenance information to strategic plans and review; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems
Evaluates functionality and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by conferring with operating departments; identifying problems and requirements
Maintains function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by implementing a preventive maintenance program; operating and testing systems and equipment; restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts
Improves function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by studying performance results; identifying, recommending, and implementing changes, expansions, and additions

Basic Qualifications & Skills
Associate's degree or equivalent experience
5+ years experience with hands-on equipment maintenance; must include experience with solving electronics failures, using such tools as test clips for device packages along with grabbers, SMD tweezers, probes, and insertion/extraction tools
3+ years experience with supervising work for a team of technically skilled individuals
Desired Qualifications & Traits
Plumbing License, Certified Pool & Spa (CPO) License, Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) Certified
Previous experience in leadership role in resort/waterpark setting

Estimated Salary Range:
$75000 per year - $85000 per year annual base salary
An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of Great Wolf's total compensation package. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and other perks.

Position Summary
Under general supervision and the direction of the Executive Director, this position is a member of the District's Executive Management Team. Schedules, coordinates and represents the engineering department at pre-construction, construction and public improvement project neighborhood meetings.
Responsible for the engineering department's review and processing of all grading permits as required by city ordinance, or as required as conditions of approval for lot divisions, site plan development, planned unit development, building construction and residential home construction.
Responsible for field inspection and verification of compliance with permit requirements for all active grading permits, particularly upon release of a project's financial security.
Responsible for reviewing and processing permit applications from other governmental agencies, public utilities, private contractors, and other parties proposing to work on public rights-of-way, public easements or other public property.
Responsible for communication and coordination of all permit activities occurring throughout the city.
Coordinates items relating to traffic engineering, including installation of street identification, traffic control signs, etc.
Works closely with the planning and public works departments to provide technical engineering assistance in the review of subdivision plats and other proposed developments.

As the Manufacturing EngineeringManager, you will provide inspirational leadership to skilled manufacturing engineers (Machining, Welding, Assembly, Test, Piping, Electrical), make work educational, and build authentic learning communities to create, develop, implement, optimize and maintain routings, tooling/fixtures, process instructions/standardized work, CNC programs and labor standards for high reliability low volume/high mix diesel engine products .
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Align Manufacturing Engineering personnel and financial resources to support business objectives.
Attend major contract meetings for development of processes, tooling, fixtures, setups and schedules.
Responsible for annual budget submission.
Responsible for evaluating and recommending new technologies to support current, new and existing fabrication, machining and assembly equipment providing justification for capital requests. (CARs)
Develops and executes capital equipment roadmap to support both business growth and existing business.
Coordinate execution of manufacturing schedules and priorities to meet customer requirements.
Responsible for maintaining and improving all manufacturing processes and related metrics- but not limited to production efficiency, cycle times, capacity, capabilities and others as needed to provide data for costing
Responsible for resource planning both from staffing and equipment perspective.
Ensures quality system standards are met and maintained during the manufacturing process.
Lead with and without authority. Model the way, encourage the heart, challenge the process, enable others to act, and inspire a shared vision.
Drive I Lead cross functional teams in continuous improvement activities, implementing methods, practices, and techniques to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost.
Lead Manufacturing Engineering Team in analyzing manufacturing process flows continually for enhancements of quality and throughput, using probes and robots to improve welding, burring, material handling, and machining operations to a level of lights out or unmanned operation.
Provide support in production departments to troubleshoot and resolve production problems on parts written up for nonconformance reports (NCR's)
Support company policies and procedures, goals and objectives, environmental safety and health regulations and manufacturing practices in providing a safe work environment
Qualifications and Educational Requirements
Bachelor 's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or least 5 years of Manufacturing Management Experience and/or at least 8 years of hands-on manufacturing experience.
Must have experience of up to 3 years in (5) axis CNC programming and machining of complex surfaces.
Must have experience with new product launches.
Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite including MS Projects. Experience working with an ERP system such as Oracle or SAP is desired. Experience in, Solid Works, Esprit, and Mastercam are a plus.
Demonstrated teamwork and team building skills in producing results and meeting organizational objectives.
Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification is a plus

Responsibilities:
Personnel:
* Assists Vice President Global Research and Development in attracting and hiring top engineering talent
* Provides work direction to engineers
* Train and mentor staff in product development processes
* Coach engineers to maximize KPI scores
Key Component and Product Development:
* Product specification review and communication with various marketing and factory staff to set development plan
* Translation of product requirements into actionable technical development tasks
* Assist product managers and engineering staff in working through any roadblocks with deliverables
* Monitors resource use by participating in project sign offs at critical phase gates
* Lead communication window for technical development teams between America and Asia
Project Engineering:
* Lead team on multiple projects through key component and product development processes
* Follow all phase gate deliverables and ensure completion to company standards
* Daily interaction with global product marketing and Asia-based factory engineering, manufacturing, and quality
* Execution of design to specification, manage team to meet schedule and cost requirements
Production support:
* Review quality and test data, perform product sample reviews and make design decisions, support value-add / value-engineer opportunities for cost and manufacturing efficiency
* Train Asia-based engineering and factory quality teams on design and functional requirements
Requirements
Education:
* A bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited institution in Electrical Engineering
* Advanced degree in engineering or business a plus
Experience:
* 5 years of successful and demonstratable technical leadership
* 5 years of project engineering or project management in electrical hardware and system development
* 10 years of professional experience in electrical hardware design
* Proficiency with motor control or control theory
* Proficiency with MCU based embedded system development
* Proficiency reading and understanding patents
Other Requirements:
* Ability and willingness to travel both internationally and domestically, communicate with overseas teams during non-business hours
* Ability to work well with numerous diverse groups and individuals
* Ability to lead and inspire a team of engineers
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
