Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is seeking candidates for the position of **Manager Test Engineering 2** to support advanced technology development programs. **This position requires 100% full-time work onsite at Northrop Grumman's facility in Linthicum or Annapolis Junction, MD.** **Candidate MUST be a US Citizen and be willing to obtain/maintain a security clearance once onboard.** **What You'll Get to Do** This is a dual-role manager/physical test systems position. Management duties include supporting, developing, and tasking staff; developing engineering process; and providing resources to meet program needs. The manager will also perform technical work on programs. The split between technical and functional management duties will be approximately 80% technical /20% functional, on average. The direct program work will include data acquisition and analysis on superconducting digital electronics. This position will take ownership of ensuring data quality through generation of novel analysis tools and data reports, as well as fostering high-quality data summary reports and presentations prepared by members of the team through mentorship and guidance. This position will involve both using existing test resources (hardware and software) and developing new tools to improve test throughput and reliability. **Roles and responsibilities include some or all of the following:** + Lead a team of 10-15 technical staff in a management role. Primary Level Salary Range: $139,800.00 - $209,800.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
