This role leads a cross-functional team of engineers in the design and development of complex wafer processing equipment involving ion beam etch, ion beam deposition, and chemical/physical vapor deposition technologies. The Senior Manager, ETO, is responsible for leading a team comprised of internal cross-discipline groups, as well as external contracted resources, involved in design projects that have near-term revenue impact. Job Responsibilities Direct and manage the Mechanical Engineering department, including overseeing staff workload and ensuring the timely completion of all Mechanical/HVAC projects in coordination with other MEP teams and disciplines within the firm. Review and approve scopes, budgets and schedules for assignments; assess overall project and financial performance. Project supervision and coordination with other engineering and architecture departments within the firm. Preparation of construction drawings and specifications for public and private bidding. Client relationship building; communicate with clients in support and coordination of all project activities. Technical leadership, production and scheduling, quality control and cost proposals. Participate in possible business development initiatives and efforts. Nurture client relationships, including attending meetings, answering questions and providing resolutions to problems/issues that may arise. Lead/Attend project meetings pertaining to construction administration; review contractor submittals and provide feedback and clarification when needed. Other functions/duties as assigned to grow, enhance and lead the Mechanical Engineering team and MEP discipline. Education and Qualifications Bachelor\'s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. Professional Engineer license required. 20+ years of overall MEP experience, with strong focus on HVAC projects, in a consulting firm; must have at least 10 years devoted to project management and development/oversight of staff. Must have prior experience working with local municipalities/government agencies. Demonstrated technical leadership and management skills. Demonstrated ability to manage and lead Mechanical/HVAC staff at various levels. Ability to manage and prioritize Mechanical projects of various complexity levels; demonstrated ability to effectively develop, grow, and enhance client relationships. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. The salary range for this role is $135,000 - $175,000 annually. The employment offer may deviate from this published range based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, specialty, knowledge, education, geography and/or related certifications - not related to an applicant's characteristics protected by local, state or federal law.
