This position is responsible for fulfilling all aspects in the repair and service of all equipment in the practitioner's office with a focus on excellent customer service. Equipment Engineering/Maintenance Technician Primary Responsibilities: The technician will perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process. This includes dismantling, adjusting, repairing, and assembling equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches, or drawings. Will use test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts. Will rebuild manufacturing equipment as required. May perform equipment modifications as directed by manufacturing engineers. The Contractor Equipment Technician shall provide logistics support to the Weapons of Mass Destruction Countermeasures (WMD) Division in inventory management, inspection, issuance, and collection of government-furnished equipment.
