Meet the Team
This role will have a front row seat into Cisco's continued penetration of the growing AI Infrastructure market as we expand our offerings to include: AI dedicated and capable products like GPU Dense servers, Core 8K routers, Hyperfabric AI (full stack AI infrastructure solutions), 800G+ switching & Optics, AI PODs, etc.
While this role will report into the BE Finance organization, it will have many dotted lines to other areas of finance, sales, and strategy and is inherently a hybrid between finance and operations, supporting Cisco's strategic and growing AI Infrastructure business. The scope of the role spans across the Compute, Data Center, and Internet Infrastructure BEs, as well as the BE Finance, Sales Finance, Sales and SP&O organizations.
Your Impact
As you've heard on earnings call, everything is AI focused. Cisco has already shown the street that we can execute as we delivered on our dedication to secure over $1B of AI Infrastructure orders within a year (with a quarter to spare)! This role is at the heart of supporting the teams that drive the design and sales of these AI Infrastructure solutions, as well as the tracking and reporting of AI business that will make its way to our CEO, the ELT, and Board of Directors. With that said, this will be a high visibility and impactful role.
The scope will undoubtedly evolve with the needs of the business, the current primary duties include:
* Working with Sales & Strategy to maintain AI Customer Class mappings, partner with Product Management & BE Finance to maintain AI PID mappings
* Validation of AI opportunities & tracking of AI Pipeline
* Ensure accuracy of AI flagged deals and AI Reporting Dashboards. Work with Sales Finance FP&A to process manual adjustments when vital.
* Consolidation of AI Infrastructure reporting (bookings, deferred bookings, orders taken, revenue, etc) for executive consumption
* Provide mentorship on AI solution price & discounts. Partner with Sales & Strategy teams to recommend data driven insights after analyzing trends between AI Customer Classes, AI Solutions, etc
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in finance, business administration, or related field plus 8+ years of relevant working experience, ideally in a large technology corporation
* P&L management experience
* Consistent track record in business partnering, influencing, and engaging with executive leadership
* Data analytics capabilities: Include experience with advanced Excel functions, Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools to support data-driven decision-making.
* Change management and adaptability: Demonstrated success in evolving roles and responsibilities in fast-paced, high-growth technology sectors. Motivated and enthusiastic about supporting cutting edge businesses
Preferred Qualifications
* MBA, CPA, or CFA is a plus

Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components, subject to the applicable Cisco plan. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:
* .75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;
* 1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;
* 1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and
* Once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay 0% up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.

As Scout's SeniorFinancialAnalyst, you will leverage your past experience in financial analysis of renewable energy and/or power sector projects to inform strategic decisions in every aspect of Scout's business. SUMMARY
The Finance Controller is a member of the Finance Leadership Team for the Colorado manufacturing site. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Accounting
Diligently collect, prepare, and record financial transactions to produce accurate and reliable financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements) in accordance with IFRS, including the reconciliation of all intercompany transactions with the site's trading partners
Perform monthly balance sheet reviews with a special focus on Net Working Capital movements, highlighting any potential risks to management
Liquidity Forecasting
Collaborate with Planning, Product Management, Quality, Procurement and Corporate Treasury to accurately forecast and provide timely updates to the company's cash position, highlighting any potential liquidity risks to Management
Accounting Operations Oversight
Manage Accounting Department - Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll (including labor hour reconciliations: hours paid vs. hours worked for all departments), and General Ledger activities
Treasury & Risk Management
Approve weekly payment runs, wires, and check signings, and oversee overall cash position, including support for all banking activities such as lines and letters of credit

Calculates cost of service analyses and recommends appropriate user charges, fees and allocation basis; provides analysis for capital financing and debt issues and establishes and administers asset replacement policies.
Coordinates the work of other staff members supporting these efforts.
2. Conducts research and analysis on policy issues, master plans, service levels, and productivity measures as requested: cost/benefit analysis, system analysis, organizational analysis, administrative processes, and rate setting methodology and assessment. May perform and assist implementation.

Origination: Your analysis will inform pricing strategies developed by the Origination team to ensure that the long-term revenue streams will contribute to target rates of return and integrate needed risk management strategies.
Project Finance & Capital Markets: You will provide support to project and corporate capital raising transactions. You will build project-specific models, refine and integrate inputs, and determine which scenarios to run based on the project opportunity. You will also support day-to-day management of transactions, coordinate consultants and diligence, and interface with internal and external counterparties.
Corporate Finance: While the bulk of your work will focus on project-level finance, you may also inform and assist with corporate-level financial modeling and transactions from time to time. This will include integrating the results of the project models, conducting more specific analysis, preparing reports for our investors, and preparing board papers that present the case for alternative investment options.
You will work as part of a high performing team within the Project Finance & Capital Markets group.
Key duties in your role will include the following:
Own projects across the investment lifecycle - from origination to financing and commercial operation.
Develop and maintain both internal and external fully structured (tax equity, debt, and cash equity) financial models with recent project and corporate assumptions.
Coordinate with many different departments internally to maintain financial models, prepare data rooms, and develop key transaction documents.
Leverage your subject matter expertise to direct and deliver scenario modeling for investment decisions, capital raising, and contract negotiations.
Support project finance, capital markets, and M&A transactions, including responding to due diligence and interfacing with investors, external consultants, and business partners.
Assist in building models, tools, processes, and infrastructure that supports the organization's accuracy, efficiency and scalability.
Assist in managing construction loan drawdowns and financing agreement compliance.
Assist with project budgeting and corporate reporting.
Complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related field.
2-3 years of experience with project finance models in investment banking and/or the renewable energy industry, including modeling tax equity and debt structures.
Experience in closing renewables capital markets transactions (tax equity, project debt, corporate debt) preferred.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Independent learner who can quickly apply lessons learned in one area to all other work areas.
Self-motivator with exceptional leadership and communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and deliver top-quality work products in multiple areas without direct supervision.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
