SUMMARY
This position is responsible for supporting the preparation of employment cost analyses (ECA) by assisting in the collection, organization, and preliminary evaluation of financial, benefits, and operational data. The Financial Analyst works under the guidance of senior team members to help compare a prospect's current state against an alternative state of operating with Insperity. This role also contributes to internal cost analysis projects and supports broader financial initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Assists in gathering and organizing financial and operational data from prospects and clients, including payroll, benefits, and general ledger information.
* Supports the development of financial models and projections by preparing data inputs and performing basic calculations.
* Reviews and summarizes financial statements and other documents to identify key data points for analysis.
* Helps compile and format data for use in employment cost analyses and internal reporting.
* Participates in internal cost analysis projects by supporting data collection and assisting with basic financial evaluations.
* Maintains a working knowledge of Insperity's product offerings and industry trends to support analysis efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance is required.
* Three or more years of experience and thorough understanding of financial accounting, reporting and analysis practices is required.
* Experience in PEO or Human Resources is preferred.
* Strong foundational understanding of financial statements and accounting principles. Ability to understand data and be able to answer questions during a presentation or evaluation.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
