SUMMARY: The purpose of the FinancialAnalyst - Sales position is to accurately compile and analyze financial information for the business by the due dates specified. Develops integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations. ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with Senior VP and General Managers to establish, implement, and track goals as they pertain to sales and gross margin improvement plans and overall profitability. Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses.
Assist General Managers with understanding and researching Monthly Price Inflation and Cost Inflation on Key Items (Value Gap.)
Assist General Managers with Price, Volume, Mix understanding for Branch including Customer Mix impact on GM%.
Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Work with Category Management team to evaluate performance and profitability of supplier base and identify areas for potential improvement product cost savings.
Analyze sales patterns to identify sales growth opportunities and work with the GMs and sales personnel to develop action plans for customers and vendors driving market share growth.
Working with IT resources and other key leaders, develop reporting capabilities around KPIs to increase understanding and improve visibility and accountability.
Assist in efforts to standardize reporting and performance tracking across the business while leveraging Profit 21, Rubbertree, HALO, Pipeline performance and the BlackHawk Playbook tools.
Analyze and track performance to goals (for General Managers, Branches, Account Managers, and Customer Service Representatives etc) on various contests and efforts to drive sales and margin improvements.
Prepare variance explanations actual vs budget, vs prior year, or forecast as required in a timely manner or as requested my management for reports prepared.
Assist in preparation of detailed annual financial budget and monthly financial forecasts when needed.
Provides ad-hoc financial analysis to support various areas of the company in a timely manner.
QUALIFICATIONS:

The Financial Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in managing day-to-day financial accounting at the site. The Manager manages a team that is responsible for the financial activities of the plant. The Manager also ensures the accuracy of the site's financial statements by overseeing the financial operations as well as contributing to the month-end accounting activities. The FinOps team works in collaboration with the financial business partners, operations managers, and the corporate transactional services team to ensure timely and accurate accounting of journal entries, internal controls, financial reporting in compliance with financial procedures and policies.
Responsibilities

Supervise and mentor finance operations staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Ensure accurate cost accounting and inventory valuation while driving continuous improvement in financial operations and a proactive approach to process optimization.
Oversee inventory management processes, including valuation, reconciliation, and reporting of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
Prepare closing activities to generate the financial results, including more complex transactions such as journal entries and accruals, intercompany accounting, inventory accounting, revenue recognition and rebate accounting.
Perform and review monthly balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Participate in financial statement preparation and validation and communicate timely and effectively with the Hub Lead regarding any operational and financial issues that may impact reporting or compliance.
Coordinate and support internal and external audit processes by preparing required documentation, responding to auditor inquiries, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required
5 + years of experience as an Accountant.
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience in managing, supervising and developing a team
Solid understanding of GAAP and/or IFRS
Understanding and use of ERP Systems.

Well-developed organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate with all plant functions

DEFINITION
Under the administrative direction of the Chief FinancialAnalyst, the FinancialAnalyst I is responsible for the ongoing financial regulatory oversight of insurance companies by conducting risk-focused financial analysis to evaluate and monitor financial condition and prospective solvency in accordance with NAIC guidelines and applicable Oklahoma statutes and regulations.
JOB DUTIES
* Conduct risk assessments of insurance companies through risk-focused analysis of assigned insurance companies.
* Review annual and quarterly insurer financial statements and related supplemental regulatory filings of assigned companies for financial stability, solvency, and statutory compliance.
* Create Insurer Profile Summary reports and Group Profile Summary reports.
* Review applications for Mergers, Acquisitions, and Redomestications.
* Identify concerns, recommend resolutions, and forward the reports to the Chief FinancialAnalyst.
* Handle oral and written correspondence with management of insurance companies, other state regulators, examiners, etc. to discuss financial condition, statutory compliance and other issues.
