This is an in-person position located at our Home Office in St. Petersburg, Florida.

This role will lead the financial reporting function for consolidated GD-OTS including primary responsibility for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting of actuals to GD Corporate (CHQ); consolidation and review of 24 ledgers and management of the GD-OTS Home Office ledger (IHO). Liaison between IHO finance and location accounting managers regarding all matters related to financial reporting. This is a highly visible role with significant growth opportunities in a strategic business unit of a Fortune 100 Company.

+ Lead the Home Office consolidation team responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for all of OTS by ensuring all deadlines are met, review submissions for accuracy, assigning and reviewing work performed by the reporting team, and other related responsibilities. Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.

+ Serve as a liaison with CHQ and business units to coordinate timely financial reporting including, performing evaluation of BU submissions for completeness and accuracy.

+ Provide guidance on technical accounting issues and questions to business units and locations. Comprehensive ability to analyze complex financial information concisely, and present conclusions and recommendations as needed.

+ Identify and implement process improvements to the financial reporting procedures, including development of a training curriculum across all of OTS, identifying and implementing opportunities for automation and other efficiencies.

+ Coordinate with the IT systems group on the implementation and ongoing maintenance of financially signification systems (ERP, Fixed Asset System, Lease Accounting software, etc.)

+ Implement and lead key initiatives such as implementation of new accounting standards across OTS, ad-hoc financial analysis requested by senior leadership (historical cost trends, variance analysis, etc.), and other key initiatives.

+ Lead, develop, and coach staff members to improve accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of the financial close process, and to enhance their professional development.
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related fields.

+ 5-7 years of managerial experience with 7+ years of individual contributor experience in finance or accounting.

+ CPA designation required.

+ Strong knowledge of US GAAP

+ Working knowledge of ASC 606 and ASC 842 preferred

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience prioritizing competing demands and managing the workload of a team.

+ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

+ 14 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function.

+ Experience in team building and development.

+ Experience extracting insights from data and presenting it to an audience.

+ Experience supporting an engineering, technology project, or research and development (R&D) investment portfolio.

+ Develop deep understanding of computing hardware and systems domain, think strategically, develop an economic point of view, and communicate with executives and cross-functional working group members.

+ Manage and guide more junior team members in delivering impactful results and building their career success and define inputs for financial modeling of new products to understand financial and economic impacts and risks.

+ Provide executive management with clear insights into drivers of business and financial performance based on risks, detailed modeling, and understanding of Technical Infrastructure technology and lead financial and strategic planning of hardware and software programs via formal Business Planning and regular Business Reviews.

+ Collaborate with and manage cross-functional teams (e.g., Engineering, Operations, Product Finance, Corporate Finance, Accounting, etc.) to provide end-to-end financial support for Google's infrastructure technology investments.

The Senior Manager of Specialty FP&A will lead a team of 3-4 analysts and will report to the Director of Specialty Finance. As an FP&A manager you will lead and support the Specialty Pharmacy business unit at CVS Health in budgeting, modeling, forecasting and variance analysis. This role will also provide executive support to the Enterprise Specialty Pharmacy team.You must be able to work individually with moderate level of guidance. To be successful you will need to possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to lead discussions and work as part of a collaborative team. These efforts will span across various departments to deliver on key enterprise initiatives. The role will need to promote a culture of innovation, challenging the status quo, and development amongst the team. Key Activities Include• Ownership of key inputs into the annual operating plan and quarterly forecasting, in particular key drivers of volume for the Specialty Pharmacy business.• Assists in the preparation of monthly financial packages to be presented to senior management• Develops integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis and ensures financial data accuracy• Owns the budget and forecast database administration team• Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management• Assists in the creation of an annual operating budget and annual strategic plan with financials• Carries out special financial planning and/or analysis of projects of varying nature and complexity which may include: financial metrics, process improvement initiatives, competition, etc• Manage and oversee the development of team talent and providing continuous training/ learning opportunities, striving for a high-performance, sustainable organization that meets its strategic and operational goals and objectives

The typical pay range for this role is:

Minimum: 75,400

Maximum: 158,300
