Position Summary:

Duties and Responsibilities:
Uses computer and traditional design equipment to design and produce publications and other visual aids.

Takes a project from concept to finished product, with creativity and sensitivity to appropriateness and effectiveness for the audience.
Works with in-house graphic design staff and printers.
Learns, uses, and assists others with computer software and equipment.

Education and Experience
Bachelor of Arts degree or equivalent experience required.
College level coursework in graphic design preferred.
One to three years' design experience required.
Ability to read and write in Spanish desirable.

Summary:
The School of International Service is seeking a creative and enthusiastic graduate student to join our Communications & Marketing team as a Visual Content Designer. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on professional experience in content creation, branding, and digital storytelling while showcasing SIS student life and faculty research.
Essential Functions:
* Graphic Design: Create eye-catching graphics and visual content for Instagram and other platforms to highlight SIS programs, events, student experiences, and faculty research. Develop templates and design systems to establish a cohesive, recognizable look across our social media channels.
* Brand Consistency: Help maintain and evolve a consistent visual identity for SIS social media that engages our audiences and reflects our community.
