Qualifications * Must have a Bachelor's degree in related industry and at least 3 years of experience. * Must have at least 3 years of experience in Learning Experience Design, Instructional Design, Training Development, or Curriculum Design. Equivalent experience will be considered. * Must have a strong ability to translate SME knowledge into structured, engaging learning. * Must have experience with eLearning authoring tools and making recommendations to enhance training quality, such as: * Articulate 360 (Rise/Storyline), Adobe Captivate, Lectora, or similar * Must have working knowledge of LMS platforms (Paycor preferred) and how learning content is deployed/tested. * Must have strong writing skills and attention to detail (SOPs, guides, job aids, scripts). * Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. * Must have ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Desired Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Learning Sciences, Educational Technology, Curriculum & Instruction, Human Factors, Industrial Design, or related field preferred. * Experience supporting government, defense, public sector, or regulated industries, preferred. * Experience applying UX principles to learning (navigation, cognitive load, interaction design), preferred. * Exposure to AI-driven learning tools or responsible AI workflows for training support, preferred. Job DescriptionThe Technical Writer revises or writes material that is mostly standardized for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction books, catalogs, and related technical and administrative publications concerned with work methods and procedures, and installation, operation, and maintenance of machinery and other equipment. General Duties: Design and develop visual assets including illustrations, technical drawings, animations, and other graphics used in courseware materials. Collaborate with the courseware production team to ensure visual elements align with instructional goals and project requirements. Use specialized software to produce high‑quality computer‑generated graphics and multimedia content. Capture and edit video/audio using professional hardware and software tools to support multimedia presentations. Apply layout and design principles throughout the courseware development process to ensure clarity, consistency, and visual appeal. Perform quality control on all graphic materials, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project standards. Review and revise graphics based on team feedback, technical requirements, and evolving project needs. Requirements: High School Diploma and US Citizen Must have and Active DoD Clearance Proficiency with graphic design and multimedia software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools). Experience creating illustrations, technical drawings, and animations for digital or instructional media.
