Job Duties: This is a post-sales position that focuses on individual clients and implementing Edifecs' Encounter Management solutions purchased by that client. The Sr. Implementation Consultant, Encounter Management is involved in installing, configuring, and overseeing the implementation of Edifecs' Encounter Management product at client sites, including installation of products on client hardware; configuration and development of programs, tasks and guidelines; and trading partner setup to fully implement the Edifecs solution. The Sr. Implementation Consultant, Encounter Management is the primary Client Services' technical resource and interfaces with the client's managers. This role involves a high technical understanding of Edifecs' solutions as well as the transactions that flow through this position. Must be willing to travel as needed - approximately 75%. No international travel. Multiple openings.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology, or related field, plus 4 years of experience as an Implementation Consultant, Software Developer, or related occupation, including:

• 4 years of experience developing and deploying Java or Middleware based applications using at least one technology such as IBM Websphere, TIBCO Business works, Oracle web logic, Oracle Glassfish, Oracle JCaps, or related technologies;
• 4 years of experience using software life-cycle methodologies such as waterfall, agile-scrum in developing products and IT applications;
• 4 years of experience using software engineering tools for configuration management, defect tracking, unit testing, build and deployment; and
• 3 years of experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) mapping, and EDI analysis.

Job Description

Within the SS&C Institutional & Investment Management (I&IM) division, the Professional Services team provides Project Management, Implementations, Operations Reviews, Interfaces Specifications and Reporting services. The Professional Services team is searching for an experienced Senior Implementation Consultant.

Position Overview:

Consistently provide accurate, cost-effective and reliable implementations of SS&C suite of products and services, including investment accounting platforms for both SS&C Hosted and Licensed Clients. Responsible for providing information and support to clients through the complete life cycle of implementation phases. Provides internal updates and escalates issues as needed. Prepares for and leads Client status calls and responds and troubleshoots problems.

Responsibilities:

+ Successfully implement the investment accounting platforms and complimentary SS&C solutions to support operations and accounting for asset managers, insurance companies, pension funds, hedge funds and REIT clients

+ Drafts and tracks to implementation project plan tasks and budget

+ Maintain relationship with various clients, including leading operations reviews, implementations processes, process improvements, project management functions and vendor review meetings

+ During the roll forward and catchup phases of the implementation process, you are responsible for ensuring monthly and quarterly deliverables are delivered timely and accurately to clients, including transaction processing, accounting reconciliations, general ledger, profit and loss, compliance and performance reporting

+ Perform business analysis, new requirements, workflow, and operational reviews.

+ Assist with researching complex account issues

+ Develop and implement consistent implementation processes and procedures for clients

+ Lead other project resources

Experience & Training:

+ 5+ years investment accounting implementations, Investment Accounting experience or Accounting firm experience including experience with STAT accounting principles

+ Strong experience with Fixed Income products, Common Stock, Derivative products, including Options, Futures, Swaps, FX trades and Commercial Loans.

+ Experience on implementation issue resolution

+ Proven ability to meet deliverables

+ Excellent communication skills

+ Ability to multi-task effectively

+ Experience using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project

+ Project Management experience

+ Desirable: Experience using SS&C products such as CAMRA, PORTIA, Recon, GWP, Pacer, Advent Axys/APX/Geneva, Sylvan, Vision FI. Also helpful is experience with Crystal report writer, SQL Server Reporting Services, , Microsoft Visio, , MSSQL and Bloomberg or Reuters terminals/data products

+ Knowledge of trading life cycle and with IBOR

+ Knowledge of amortization, book value and yields

+ Desirable: Previous experience as a user or implementer of Clearwater, PAM,, Simcorp, Eagle, SunGard, Invest One or other investment accounting systems.

**This Opportunity**

WSP is currently initiating a search for a **Senior Implementation Specialist** to work remotely supporting **Golder's Digital Solutions Team** . Working with a wide range of internal and external clients in various industries, the Senior Implementation Specialist will solve complex requirements, lead technical project teams, and develop designs for Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Software solutions. The Senior Implementation Consultant will identify new opportunities, develop proposals, implement software solutions, and represent Golder Digital Solutions at external events, amongst other activities to ensure that we provide quality solutions to meet our clients' EHS Software needs.

**Your Impact**

+ Interact with customers using a variety of means to obtain technical details required for configuration

+ Interpret customer compliance requirements and business processes in sufficient detail to develop technical specifications for configuration

+ Provide feedback and suggestions for improving existing business processes

+ Configure EHS software per design specifications

+ Perform unit testing of EHS software to verify configuration per design specifications

+ Perform end to end system testing with support as needed

+ Develop reports, dashboards and other visualization assets using commercially available software packages and tools

+ Demonstrate software configuration and base functionality to customers in informal and formal settings

+ Assist in the development of integration specifications and testing

+ Deliver and develop training, technical documentation and training materials for customer and/or project team use

+ Develop test scripts and support customers through UAT

+ Develop legacy data mapping

+ Perform data migration and cleansing activities

+ Analyze and interpret large, complex data sets

+ Troubleshoot configuration issues during deployment and rollout activities

+ Support customer account team during post deployment and rollout activities

+ Interact with regulatory agencies, subcontractors, and clients in a confident and professional manner.

**Who You Are**

**Required Qualifications**

+ Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

+ 7 to 10 years of relevant post education experience working with an information software platform and/or one or more of the following subject areas: environmental permitting and compliance, occupational health and industrial hygiene, safety incident management, sustainability, and resiliency, and/or quality management or risk management (operational or enterprise).

+ Past experience directing and supporting remote and global teams, including mentoring and training staff.

+ Analytical mindset with an ability to exercise sound judgement in evaluating situations, applying logic, making decisions, and providing objectivity.

+ Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, and effectively articulating complex data in a simple, actionable manner.

+ Demonstrated high level of self-leadership with attention to detail, accuracy, results orientation, and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment.

+ Strong ability to work independently and provide guidance and leadership to junior team or project members

+ Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
