A Hajoca Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for the strategy, design, implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of all Hajoca IT infrastructure, particularly pertaining to servers, storage, operating systems, and their respective underlying networking, DR, and high availability configurations. This includes server-side and cloud technologies. The Senior Systems Engineer will work closely with business partners to develop and implement solutions that align with business goals. This is a hands-on, senior level technical role that requires excellent technical skills and proven attention to details, processes, and discipline within a production enterprise environment. This position reports directly to the Infrastructure Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities - Develop, implement, and maintain all areas of server and storage technology including all hardware maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and support. - Manage and support the organization's Windows (Active Directory, Group Policy, etc.), Linux, and VMware vSphere infrastructure. Ensure that performance and reliability are maintained. - Administer and support the organization's cloud environments, including (but not limited to) Office 365 and Microsoft Azure. - Administer and support the organization's backup and recovery infrastructure - Be apprised of industry best practices and procedures to provide strategy and support for infrastructure. This includes but is not limited to critical updates, security patches, troubleshooting, high availability, and upgrades. - High level management of applications. Work with application owners to ensure applications are available and hosted utilizing industry best practices. Assist in troubleshooting after responsible parties have exhausted their resources. - Work closely with network, security, development, application, and support teams in implementation of infrastructure components supporting emerging technologies and applications. - Participate in the planning and implementation of DR scenarios and testing. - Assist in information gathering during acquisitions. Work closely with other teammates to plan and execute migration activities for networks/server/client-side technologies. - Assumes technical leadership role in problem resolution and root cause analysis. - Maintains effective external relationships with vendors, consultants, and service providers; leverages these relationships to ensure that the best fit solutions and resources are available to the company. - Serve as final escalation point for issues that cannot be resolved by other support tiers or other teams' support personnel. - Ensure a world class customer support experience for our Profit Centers, which includes courteous responses in a timely fashion for all requests. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Advanced knowledge of all relevant Operating Systems (Windows, Linux, VMware ESXi, etc.) - Advanced knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and related services - Advanced knowledge of virtualization infrastructure (e.g. VMware vSphere) - Experience administering Office 365, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Exchange (hybrid configuration), and Microsoft Azure - Experience in the design, implementation, and support of public cloud infrastructure (e.g. Azure, AWS, etc.) - Functional knowledge of core networking concepts including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, load balancing, VLAN segmentation, and network traffic capture and analysis - Ability to build and maintain a positive working relationship with vendors, customers, and co-workers - Ability to research, analyze data, and solve complex technical and process-related problems - Ability to prioritize work projects and multi-task - Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor - Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills Education, Training, Experience Required - Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent industry experience - 4+ years of relevant IT industry experience - Advanced technical knowledge of infrastructure products, practices, and procedures - Proven project management experience Preferred - Relevant industry recognized certifications - Experience in a senior level technical role - Experience mentoring peers

We are seeking a **Cloud - Information Systems Security Engineer -Senior** to support Project Manager, Intelligence Systems & Analytics (PM IS&A) Cybersecurity Support Services by supporting cybersecurity systems engineering, assessment and authorization, field service engineer, and other management support services necessary to accomplish the missions and goals.
**Roles/Responsibilities:**

Responsible for the deliverables, managing project artifacts, and managing staff and performance to include:

+ Support enterprise and systems security designs throughout the development lifecycle.

+ Be able to translate technology and environmental conditions into security designs and processes.

+ Have experience architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions on AWS platforms.

+ Be able to guide, document, validate technical efforts to design, build, and deploy AWS applications at the direction of lead architects, including large-scale data processing, computationally intensive statistical modeling, and advanced analytic.

+ Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle for AWS solutions, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance.

+ Troubleshoot incidents, identify root cause, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures.

+ Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training as required.

+ Employ exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity.

**Requirements** :

+ Must have a MS degree in Computer Science or a related field plus 7 or more years directly related experience; or a BS degree in Computer Science or a related field plus 10 or more years of directly related experience.

+ Must be IASAE Level II certified with 5 years of experience.

+ Must understand and have experience with the five pillars of a well-architected frameworks.

+ Have experience in several of the following areas: database architecture, ETL, business intelligence, big data, machine learning, advanced analytics.

+ Demonstrated ability to collaborative with multi-disciplinary teams of business analysts, developers, data scientists, and subject matter experts.

+ Have three (3) or more years of combined design and hands-on cloud experience.

+ Travel as needed, 25% or more.

+ Current TS/SCIw/CI poly Clearance.

IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (IT) field or related field; four (4) years experience in enterprise infrastructures may be substituted for educational requirement.
• Current certification in at least one of the following preferred:
o MCSE: Server Infrastructure
o VMware Certified Implementation Expert
o MCSD: Application Lifecycle Management
o Other MCSE certifications

B. EXPERIENCE:
• In addition to the educational requirement, six (6) years experience with server and datacenter infrastructure technologies to demonstrate the following:
o Expert understanding of Windows OS / servers, failover clustering, and server hardware.
o Expert knowledge of VMWare ESXi.
o Knowledge of Active Directory, Windows / Linux, and Storage Area Networks.
o Experience with Microsoft services such as Exchange and SQL server and Windows Server Operating Systems Server 2008 and 2012.
o Extensive experience with core software applications.
o Excellent software troubleshooting experience.
o Extensive application support experience.
o Working technical knowledge of current software protocols, and internet standards.
o Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
o Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software systems, applications, and related products.
o Proven experience with systems planning, security principles, and general software management best practices.
o Ability to achieve organization's goals and objectives.
