As a Senior IT Network Engineer, you will function as part of a team of engineers responsible to support the Operation and maintenance of CACI's Corporate & Development Operations Networks. The role requires a thorough understanding of standard integration procedures for spaceflight instruments and the full suite of environmental testing. The candidate would interface with the Principal Investigator, Project Manager, Systems Engineer, Subsystem Leads, Mission Assurance and QA staff and mechanical, electrical, and contamination technicians. The Sr. AI&T Engineer will provide the technical expertise to perform and direct the test and integration of mechanical, thermal, electronic, and electromechanical systems and subsystems for innovative instruments in the field of Solar Physics.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Perform a variety of engineering work in the integration and test of a system capable of meeting requirements within imposed constraints including cost and schedule.
+ Determine test methodologies, specifying the instrumentation and test equipment necessary for testing, working with test conductors, directing the test, and subsequently analyzing the resulting data and preparing summary reports for project personnel
+ Lead efforts in the design, fabrication, and operation of ground support equipment (both electronic GSE, and mechanical test fixtures)

+ Hands-on work with spaceflight hardware at all stages of development including design, build, test, qualification, and on-orbit operation
+ Expertise in the collection, manipulation, and interpretation of test data
+ Understanding of the NASA flight hardware development process and methodology
