As a key member of the leadership team this role contributes to the development and execution of the enterprise-wide IT strategy and is responsible for ensuring the Infrastructure and Operations strategy delivers business value. Key Responsibilities
Sets the mission, vision, & strategy for the Infrastructure and Operations function ensuring alignment with business goals & IT objectives.
Develops and oversees the budget including planning/forecast accuracy & continuous cost-optimization.
Manage cloud infrastructure, including public, private, & hybrid cloud environments as well as the design and implementation of onsite IT infrastructure solutions, including network, servers, and storage.
Oversee day-to-day IT operations including system monitoring, performance tuning, and incident/change management to ensure high levels of service availability and problem management to prevent high impact incidents from recurring.
Implement and enforce security policies to protect infrastructure from threats and ensure IT infrastructure adheres to and complies with corporate cybersecurity policies and relevant regulatory, data classification/privacy, and industry standards.
Monitor and report on system performance, availability, & reliability issues and develop, maintain, & regularly test backup and recovery plans to ensure they work when needed.
Manage relationships with vendors and service providers to fully exploit & ensure service delivery aligned with contractual obligations and perform technology lifecycle management to optimize, future proof, and eliminate technical debt of key infrastructure assets.
Lead and coach the Infrastructure and Operations team including hiring, training, & performance management and foster continuous improvement & professional development to keep up with technological advancements and help them achieve their career aspirations.
Total Rewards:

Acts as a liaison to the external IS vendors on behalf of the banks business units
Develops enterprise strategy for technology and information management and works closely with Business Unit
Managers, customers and stakeholders to identify and maximize opportunities to use knowledge and systems technology to improve business processes and enable the company workforce to maximizethe use of Information Technology
Provides technical advice to senior executives and staff as well asdevelopsp and offer solutions to IT problems
Ensures all IT projects meet strategic business objectives and that software package and licensing are current
Works with Risk Management department to update and improve enterprise-widee disaster recovery plan to ensure timely and effective restoration of IT services in the event ofa disaster
Monitors information technology industry trends and suggests enhancements
Manages the hiring, daily activities, coaching, evaluation, and counseling of reporting staff
Participates in job-specific training and other various Bank training programs, as necessary
Maintains current knowledge of internal risk controls and loss prevention, including reporting of suspicious or unusual customer activity per Bank policy, and ensures adherence by the respective department personnel
Maintains current knowledge and complies with all federal and state laws and regulations and all established Bank policies and procedures, including internal audit controls related to department operations, and ensures adherence by the respective department personnel
Maintains current knowledge of all rules, regulations, and laws as they apply to BSA/OFAC/USA Patriot Act/CIP/AML, and ensures adherence by the respective department personnel

A self-starting team player who possesses a bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or a similar Business IT-related field and at least ten years of prior IT/IS management-related experience
Demonstrated expertise and experience leading information technology project management including development of software and applications, operations, support services, business solutions, systems security, risk compliance, systems conversion management-related, client-server applications, and ability to enhance business processes through the application of system technology
Flexibility, professionalism, ability to work in a highly stressful environment, meet deadlines, and perform a variety of tasks with numerous interruptions
Good organizational, interpersonal, and communications skills required
Availability to travel occasionally
Bilingual in English and Spanish is desired

Certified Coding Specialist (CCS).
PREFERRED EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Health Information Management.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Five years of inpatient experience.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Level of knowledge equivalent to an Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management Administration, certification as a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), and Certified Coding Specialist (CCS). Should be an active member of the American Health Information Management Association and local Health Information Management Association.
