The IT Director maintains knowledge of current IT and telecommunications technology while assisting our customers along with the IT staff. These current and emerging technologies include, but are not limited to, optical transport networks, software-defined networks, wireless, mobility, satellite, ethernet, voice over IP, unified communications, IP/enterprise network infrastructures, and cloud-based services.
You will initiate actions to develop new programs and contracts and update existing programs and contracts to ensure the most current technologies and services are being made available to customers.
As an ideal candidate, you have proven experience in developing, implementing, and supporting various hardware, software, and network systems and the staff required to perform the needed support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Reviews diagnostics and assesses the functionality and efficiency of systems.
Implements security measures.
Monitors security certificates and company compliance with requirements
Offers technical support to company staff and troubleshoots computer problems.
Installs and updates software and hardware as needed.
Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
Meets with prospective clients to determine needed resources and requirements.
Defines hardware, software, and network requirements.
Maintains and installs networks.
Database administration
Recovery management.
Telecommunications management
Identifies and resolves project issues.
Understanding of voice over IP. (Vonage)
Networking of printers and set up for use
New office installation of Internet Services
Rack system
Cabling
Wi-fi repeaters/Extenders
Multi port switch boxes
Other needs for IT operations

Qualifications:

IT Applications Analyst
Senior information technology manager job in Clinton, NC
The Applications Anlayst serves as the central point of contact for a portfolio of hospital applications, including but not limited to Meditech, Redoc, Mach7, and eMDs. This role is responsible for the implementation, training, support, and upgrade coordination of these systems, ensuring they meet organizational and clinical needs.
The Applications Analyst plays a key role in project management for assigned systems, acting as the single point of contact fro project timelines, issue resolution, and communication. They are responsible for the creation and maintenance of user-requested reports, as well as the ongoing analysis and support of application workflows to ensure optimal performance and availability.
This position requires daily collaboration with a variety of end users, including physicians, Radiologists, Nurses, and other hospital departments, as well as coordination with third-party vendors. The Analyst must build and maintain effective relationships and communication channels across these groups to support transparency, cooperation, and timely updates on project and support status.
The Applications Analyst ensures that all services are performed professionally and efficiently, with a strong focus on user satisfaction and system reliability. Responsibilities also include resolving Help Desk tickets, managing workflow changes, and communicating go-lives, upgrades, and template modifications to all impacted departments.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Health Information Systems or equivalent discipline is desired, but not required. Equivalent experience and knowledge is acceptable in lieu of a degree.
Minimum of one year exposure to the healthcare industry or applicable area of concentration.
Knowledge of information systems required.
Must have experience with report writing tools and methodologies or Advanced Excel Analysis (pivot tables, pivot charts, extensive functions, queries, conditional formatting, tables, utilizing multiple Excel documents on one sheet, data projections).
Must have experience with project management tools and methodologies.
Must have experience in full life cycle system development projects and completed work on a major application effort that involved the entire implementation from start to finish.
Will be expected to lead groups to map workflows.
Hours:
Minimum 40-hour work week. Rotating weekly call required. Flex schedules and shift work are possible during implementation. May be required to work other hours for effective department operations.
