The Technical Leader will be responsible for managing a professional Information Technology staff of Windows and Unix Senior System Administrators, Network Administrators and Infrastructure Architects S/he will lead the IT Infrastructure teams and engage in design, development, and maintenance of a wide variety of infrastructure, network and telecommunication infrastructure components to meet business needs, goals and objectives. In addition to working with Technology management and staff, this position will be expected to build and maintain strong customer-focused relationships and work with project, program managers and staff to ensure cost-effective, high priority technology solutions are delivered in support of business needs. Working with other members of the IT management team, this position will participate in the development of long-term IT infrastructure planning, strategies, policies and standards to meet business and customer service level objectives.

+ Manage IT systems staff in architecting, designing, implementing, testing, and deploying infrastructure solutions.

+ Lead, hire, train, coach, and mentor the performance across teams for Network Administrators Windows & Linux System Administrators and Infrastructure architects

+ Responsible for on-call schedule, escalation support, environment monitoring and overall infrastructure performance

+ Support the technical managers and software development manager in defining and managing infrastructure related to development projects in terms of planning, estimates, scheduling, task allocation, monitoring, risk and issue management etc.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and guide the IT Operations team to provide "best in class" service deliver across the region.
  • Serve as a point of escalation and decision-making for the IT Operations regional team.
  • Develop, implement and maintain support methodologies, strategies, processes, and documentation to facilitate problem-solving, focusing on customer service, ease of use, and comprehension.
  • Ensure that all processes used by the IT Operations regional team are thoroughly documented, consistently audited, and regularly improved.
  • Monitor and maintain reporting and analytics to ensure team efficiency in alignment with the business and company-wide metrics.
  • Provide operational status and metrics regarding technology hardware and solutions utilizing the ticketing system and tools to the regional director in support of the monthly operations review.
  • Oversee all aspects of IT Operations regional team recruiting, training, development, and coaching, communicating job expectations, and appraising team performance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • Two to six years of previous release or project management experience.
  • Eight to ten years of experience in information systems operations environment in systems analysis or development.
  • Three or more years of experience managing infrastructure, operational, or other IT teams.
  • Formal training in project management practices is preferred with an understanding of project management principles.
  • The ability to travel as needed.
