Telos is looking for an experienced channel sales professional with expertise in the State & Local Government and Education market to join and grow with our dynamic team! This position will also be responsible for the distribution network that supports the fulfillment and enablement of this market segment.

The Sr. Technical Partner Manager will work closely with Telos Technical Partners (integration, embedded and MSSP) as the Telos channel sales team on the technical aspect of the partner qualification and engagement model to ensure partner success. The Sr. Technical Partner Manager's technical expertise will be relied upon for technical partner recruitment efforts, advising/designing solution architecture, and technical enablement on the core Telos' solutions.

The Sr. Technical Partner Manager will be responsible for leading technical discussions, conducting demonstrations and supporting product development environments and evaluations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise architecture, be capable of advanced solution engineering, architecture design and in-depth product configuration. Strong presentation skills and an understanding of the intricacies of a complex, technical sales cycle for a diverse set of partners is essential.
This position will be based in our Ashburn, VA HQ with the opportunity to be remote.


* Support the Channel Team in their qualification of potential Technology, Systems Integrator and MSP Partners.
* Provide pre-sales technical consulting to potential partners as they evaluate, develop, and deploy solutions using Telos products.
* Articulate business needs and translate them into technology solutions.
* Provide pre-sales consulting on solution architecture within the context of the Partner's network infrastructure and business goals.
* Engage in identifying architectural weaknesses and recommending appropriate solutions.
* Provide technical enablement of a diverse partner/channel ecosystem.
* Actively participate at trade shows, seminars and speaking engagements
* Help to identify new business opportunities.
* Provide feedback to Product Management and Engineering on product functionality and future enhancements.
* Coordinate, collaborate with, and engage Telos Sales Engineering, Solution Architect and Concierge team members when those resources are needed to support partner activities.

Job Requirements


* Bachelor's degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience (6 years).
* 10+ years in a Solutions Architect or Solutions Engineering role in a customer facing capacity.
* 5+ years' experience working in a Technical Consulting or Advisor role providing guidance and design concepts to customers or partners.
* Demonstrated experience bringing together multiple technologies in a single solution to help drove the GTM strategies into a given market.
* Ability to articulate business needs and translate them into technology solutions.
* Consultative and value driven approach to customer or partner relationships.
* Partner experience preferred but nor required.
* Located in DC Metro area or US Remote.
* 20-30% travel is expected (post Covid).
* EA technical certifications a plus.
* Experience in the cyber security market a plus.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
