We are seeking an IT Director to join our team. As a key member of the Eau Palm Beach team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Forbes Five-Star resort.
Role Summary:
The Director of IT's primary function will be to ensure that the Resort's technology assets are functioning efficiently, effectively and are properly protected through the daily management of the IT Department and all of its resources. In addition, the Director of IT will accomplish the responsibilities as outlined below.
The Director of IT will be responsible for coordinating end-user support including administration, security, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware and software. This will include developing and maintaining documentation for operation of the computer systems and software licensing. In addition the Director of IT will be expected to make recommendations for improvements and enhancements to existing systems. The Director of IT will also work on assigned projects related to property systems, hardware and software vendors. The Director of IT will be actively involved in budgeting and planning support for guest and group technology issues in all public space, guest and meeting rooms required.
The Director of IT will be available to provide after-hours error resolution for property systems as needed. This will include being on call for after hour issue resolution.
The Director of IT will always conduct him/herself in manner which supports the values and beliefs of Eau Palm Beach Resort and Spa.
Essential Qualifications:
Execution of network security, stability, and survivability directives.
Manage the IT staff consisting of an IT Manager
Manages the Capital Budget process for all system related items
Manage the IT department's annual operational budget as well as the budget for the overall IT environment
Maintain Resort's PCI compliance status and provide quarterly/annual reports as required
Plan, coordinate and execute special projects as necessary
Interacts with Resort Guidance Team, Management Team, Staff, and Guests to resolve technology related issues and provide guidance on future projects
Plan, design, test, and implement configuration changes for servers and software
Responsible for all data backup and restoration functions
Researching technology solutions pertinent to ongoing or future IT implementations
Act as vendor liaison for resolution of errors and maintenance of existing systems
When applicable work with Resort departments to develop criterion for software system implementation, upgrades and enhancements
After-hours pager duty on a scheduled basis as part of a rotation
Attend all monthly and required Resort meetings
Essential Skills:
Bachelor's Degree
Certification in MCP, MCSA, MCSE, MCSD, A+, or systems currently used at property preferred.
Experience with Microsoft software required.
Experience in a networked computer environment.
Excellent oral and written communications skills required.
Hotel IT experience of 5 or more years.
Knowledge of wireless (Wi-Fi) systems
Must be able to work flexible days/hours - some on-call duty is required.

What You Will Do - Primary Responsibilities
Manage SBA cyber security operations, including incidents, cases, logs, threats, and alerts from various technologies (ex. SIEM), and take the necessary actions to optimize and remediate.
Manage and report on SBA threats to reduce the SBA attack surface from all known attack vectors.
Review SBA's attack surface and make the necessary architecture and/or remediation changes to optimize.
Conduct technical security activities, including security testing, threat hunts, exploitation tactics and techniques, and password cracking, as needed.
Oversee and lead IT security architecture projects through conversation, optimization, and collaboration with various IT and enterprise stakeholders.
Manage malware events and report on activity to improve SBA's malware strategy.
Manage SBA endpoint management technologies, including XDR and AV technologies.
Conduct SBA software security reviews to ensure stable software release across the enterprise.
Conduct firewall compliance activities through the use of technologies to identify and remediate exposures.
Utilize dark web monitoring technologies and report on the results.
Participate in incident response and recovery activities, including leading incident and forensic investigations and mitigation activities.
