Senior Service Delivery Manager job responsibilities include:

Full-time, non-exempt Starting Pay Range: $38.44 - $41.63 The Communications Services Manager has direct oversight and administration and maintenance of the Ozaukee County trunked radio system, telephony, microwave, other communications and related data systems. Supervises the communication function of the IT Department. Assists local municipal police/fire/EMS units with installation, maintenance, repair and service of electronic equipment including but not limited to portable and mobile radios and paging. In addition to public service and public safety two-way radio communications there is also the oversight and liaison for video conferencing and audio/video systems within the Justice Center.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
The following duties are primarily performed and are essential for this position. Employees are expected to be able to perform each of these job duties satisfactorily and successfully with or without reasonable accommodations to be qualified for the position. 40% Maintenance:
System administrator and technician for trunked radio system configuration and diagnostics, system operation, maintenance and system optimization. Coordinates with service vendors for the various preventive maintenance needs on the radio system and associated various components in addition to the same needs regarding video conf and a/v systems. Bench work includes testing and verification of failed or problematic radio gear or system components.
25% Administration:
Directs and administers the trunked radio and microwave communication systems, the NG911 system and the services provided to County and other municipal agencies, including system and database design, operation, maintenance and upgrades. Creates reports required for radio, 911 and phone system use as requested, budget related tasks and inventory of on-hand and spare equipment parts and supplies.
20% Other:
Assists with user training and training related matters on any of the systems responsible for. Represents the County with contracted agencies; provides technical assistance regarding communications systems and equipment. Assists with comms needs for any of the county's municipalities. Coordinates with vendors or provides the service of decommissioning old technology and associated wiring.
5% Supervision:
If/when a technician is also part of the staff there are some supervisory functions that are necessary to perform from personnel matters, training and assisting, task assignments and etc.
5% On-call 24/7:
Responds to calls from dispatch at any time of day or night for radio, phone and 911 system problems or failures.
5% IT Support for County Courts System:
Responsible for the IT Network, telephony and telecommunications support for the Ozaukee County Courts System. IT system supports all courts functions.
Supervision Exercised
Direct supervision over Technician/Programmer.

Job Responsibilities:
Project & System Executions: 30-40%
1. Oversee project teams as needed to support Company or Business Area projects and requests. Ensure that the technical and functional results are delivered as agreed upon with the project sponsors. Responsible for coordinating with staff across the IT organization to ensure successful delivery of project activity.
2. Accountable for overseeing successful completion of all non-project work activities (regulatory changes, enhancements, break/fix, maintenance, etc.) as required to support SLA s and functional needs of the Company or a Business Area. Develop and manage to operational budgets and plans.
3. Develop and maintain project and operational reporting to demonstrate quality execution of project commitments (budget, benefits, etc.) and adherence to service level commitments.
4. Manage relationship with external service providers as part of project execution of application support/hosting. Ensure all activity is delivered in compliance with normal policies, procedures, technology standards, security requirements, etc. of CMG and the IT department.

1. Understand business needs and processes for area of responsibility. Work with appropriate IT leaders / teams to ensure the application footprint/infrastructure will support the current and planned needs of the Business Area/Company.
2. Monitor customer satisfaction with project execution, operational support. Identify opportunities and implement changes to drive improvement in service.
People Leadership:20-30%
1. Responsible for the consistent delivery of HR processes: recruiting, hiring, training, career development, performance management, etc. Evaluate team members in both technical duties and professional aspects of their performance.
2. Define application development/infrastructure team structure and resource levels. Allocate resources and responsibilities across the application team to meet required Business Area or Company results.
3. Communicate and reinforce CMG/IT/application/infrastructure team goals, policies and procedures to staff members.
4. Coach/mentor team members as necessary. Align team members in roles to best take advantage of their strengths and to grow/diversify their skill sets.
Job Requirements:
1. College degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent trade-off in related professional work experience.
2. Five years data processing experience with progression through technical and analyst, or equivalent, levels to
