Job Summary:
Under routine supervision, this position is responsible for the project completion, execution, assembly, and installation of products while providing a safe, efficient, and courteous delivery to our customers. This position provides project execution and expertise in planning, personnel assignment, product installation, layout, manage multi-step assembly, customer sign-off, and timeliness of project completion. Assist in helping load and unload items and maintain cleanliness of assigned vehicle and installation site. Incumbent must be able to work any shift to satisfy the demand for flexibility of scheduling to ensure operational success. This includes, but is not limited to, day shifts, night shifts and/or weekend shifts.

Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
• Help assemble and install products for all customers and manufacturers within a home location or job site
• Oversee the processes that ensure products are properly assembled per manufacturer's specifications, test for proper functionality and load, unload and install safely, according to local codes and standards without damage to product or customer location
• Identify and resolve any issues in a professional and effective manner to ensure a positive outcome
• Interact with coworkers and customers in a professional, fast-paced environment to ensure customer needs are met while building a strong working relationship with a positive attitude.
• Understand and promote all JBHT safety requirements including required use of personal protective equipment to ensure safety of self and co-workers; adhere to safety policies and procedures to ensure job site is safe for product installation and free from hazards and obstructions that could endanger workers or damage the delivery site
• Direct installation activities and personnel on job sites to ensure that safety procedures are followed, time commitments are met, and projects are completed to the customer's satisfaction
• Manage the training and adherence to bolt-down process for large equipment on job sites and/or the install of specialized equipment/products
• Get customer sign-off on successful project completion and maintain regular communication with project leaders on project status
• Coordinate internal logistics to ensure equipment, tools, and project-related items arrive on-site in a timely manner as needed
• Ensure job site is safe for product installation and free from hazards and obstructions that could endanger workers; perform quality control checks to ensure adherence to all safety measures
• Conduct and review property damage assessment from customer complaints and PD Claims
• Guide and train new personnel on job site activities, policies, and processes

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualification:
18 years of age with 1-2 years of relevant experience and ability to pass a background check Must possess ability to work outdoors, in the elements, or across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends if needed
Preferred Qualification:
3 or more years experience with High School Diploma/GED, experience in installing appliances, manual or physical labor, construction site preferred Successful completion of bolt-down proficiency training OSHA 10 CertificationPossession of a valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record that meets JBH standards
Skills & Abilities:

The Senior Audio Install Technician is responsible for installation of FTR products throughout our client site locations.

Primary Role Accountabilities

+ With excellent customer relationship and troubleshooting skills, perform onsite installation and integration of FTR products

+ Audio-Visual configuration and setup including video conferencing and configuring commercial audio visual equipment and systems i.e. digital audio (Biamp/BSS), control (Crestron/AMX), video routing & image processing.

+ Develop and maintain knowledge base articles and technical documents

+ Install and configure software as required

+ Provide regular progress updates for current and outstanding incidents or project tasks

+ Maintain schedule set by Technical Lead to complete installs on time for go-live

+ Systematically troubleshoot and offer solutions for audio systems

PDS Tech senior installation technician job description

**PDS Tech is seeking Interior Installation Tech II for open positions Savannah, GA**

**Position Purpose:**

The Interior Installation Technician Senior works under limited supervision to remove, install, and/or fabricate aircraft interiors, which may include items such as trim, carpet, sound proofing, light structure, cabinetry, panels and other accessories. All work performed should be in accordance with company design specifications, quality standards and completed work should meet customer expectations. Mentor and train other Interior Installation Technicians.

**Essential Functions** :

1. Safely perform aircraft interior removal, installation, and/or fabrication of aircraft interiors (which may include galleys, closets, lavatories, side ledges, bulkheads, doors and panels).

2. Coordinate with supervision and Inspection to ensure compliance with Repair Station procedures, internal and FAA paperwork, sign-offs and quality specifications.

3. Mentor and train other Interior Installation Technicians. Review their work prior to sign off to ensure work complies with quality control standards.

4. Accept lead responsibilities as required. Oversee projects or other technicians and assess requirements of assigned tasks to procure required materials and documentation for assigned tasks.

5. Utilize the material tracking system to create parts demand, track squawks and to sign-off work.

6. Follow standard operating procedures when using tools and equipment such as hand tools, band saws, shears, sanders and brakes. Properly care for and maintain shop equipment and tools.

7. Prepare and install aircraft interior items in accordance with company operation procedures and quality standards.

8. Remove and re-install nut plates, inserts and other fasteners used in aircraft interiors. Apply proper use of hardware and fittings on aircraft installations.

9. Comply with safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies and use personal protective equipment as required. Address unsafe conditions before putting people or property at risk.

10. Assist technicians with aircraft maintenance requirements.

11. Adapt to sudden schedule changes and coordinate projects with other shops/departments as required.

**Additional Functions** _:_

1. Work with lead and higher skilled technicians to develop and implement process improvements that reduce cost, cycle time, and man-hours using Lean Six Sigma and other process improvement techniques.

2. Make and use simple patterns for own use employing standardized procedures.

3. In support of aircraft certification and final phase testing, may include flight tests on aircraft as required.

4. Perform other duties as required.

**Education and Experience Requirements:**

+ High school diploma/GED.

+ Four (4) years of applicable installation, fabrication or related experience.

+ Experience in aerospace industry preferred.

**Unique Skills:**

+ Gulftream completions experience preferred. CATIA, SMARTEAM, SOLUMINA experience preferred. sheetmetal/structural experience with be very helpful.

**Other Requirements:**

+ Fluent in the English language. Must have the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation.

+ Ability to use hand/power tools and equipment associated with installation and removal of interiors.

+ Able to climb ladders and stairs, work in small restricted areas, lift up to 40 pounds and work any shift.

+ Must be computer literate.

+ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

+ Advanced knowledge of aircraft installation and/or fabrication processes applicable to the specific position, such as removal and installation of galleys, closets, lavatories, side ledges, bulkheads, doors, panels; working with composite panels made from Nomex honeycomb, fiberglass, Lexan, acrylic materials, etc.
