KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

In conjunction with the District Installation Manager, responsible for the overall project management and installation of capital equipment for our customers from beginning to completion:
Participate in Equipment Planning Meetings (EPM) to provide updates to the team on project progress and solutions to issues that arise.
Update the Primary Project Management Software (Trello) which includes taking project notes and pictures to ensure the system is current and contains the information required for an installation.
Responsible for all documentation relevant to installation checklist or delegate to appropriate TSM.
Assist in selection of installation teams per project.
Serve as the primary point of contact for designated large capital equipment installations; meet with the sales representative and contractor at initial job site meeting; and monitors progress through job completion.
Obtain and review all plans and spec sheet information and provides direction to tradesman.
Review all equipment orders to ensure accuracy of required accessories.
Determine project job site readiness prior to HSD installation.
Coordinate equipment delivery details which includes but is not limited to: ensuring the construction site is ready; communication with all 3PLs; and ensures each delivery is correct.
Attends project kick-off and go live date meetings and events.
Acts as primary contact with contractors and suppliers as it relates to the build-out and installation projects.
Communicate with customer and District Installation Manager on the installation progress. Escalate issues to Installation Manager as required.
Owns the overall project punch list to completion.
Review with customer the proper use and care of equipment, which includes walk-through of installation guides when appropriate and coordinates initial third-party training when required.
Handles Disconnect/Reconnect assessment to determine man hours and need for additional trades for projects.
Backup to Equipment Specialist (ES) for Shielding Plan Site Spec.
Assist District Installation Manager in risk management claims or other installation issues.

Provide job site leadership, oversite, and accountability for project completion as scheduled per construction plan.
Provide coaching and guidance and constructive feedback to HSD team with respect to the installation process.

OmniOn Power currently has a Telecommunications Installer DC (Level III) opportunity available. This role will be 100% remote with overnight travel to customer sites in a regional area. Periodic travel may be required outside of the geographical region. The preferred location for this role is Florida.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Telecommunications Installer DC (Level III) will work on the addition or removal of wiring and connections on working and non-working DC power equipment. Responsible for weekly tool inventory, writing and submitting the MOP (Method of Procedure) and JIM (Job Information Memorandum). Responsible for timesheet for self and crew, safety adherence, and jobsite house cleaning. This role will report to the Region Service Manager.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
As the Telecommunications Installer DC (Level III), you will:
Lead small to medium sized service projects.
On-time completion and quality of the installation project.
Responsible for inventory and staging of equipment and materials, weekly status report to supervisor, reading and interpreting specifications and drawings.
Assist Level IV Technician on lead verification (voltage).
Add or remove DC power systems, batteries, and add or remove common systems equipment hardware.
Support installation, commissioning of wireless, datacenter, and electric vehicle (EV) charging equipment.
Comply with all EHS and regulatory guidelines.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma/GED
Three years of experience in Telecom DC power equipment installation
Two years of experience in pulling & sewing cable, construction of cable racking, bay mounting
Valid driver's license
Computer skills including Microsoft Outlook / Excel / Word

Track record of successful training, coaching, and onboarding of subcontractors.

OmniOn Power currently has a Telecommunications Installer (Level IV) opportunity available.
This role will be 100% remote with overnight travel to customer sites in a regional area. Periodic travel may be required outside of the geographical region. The preferred location for this role is Los Angeles, CA.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Telecommunications Installer (Level IV) is responsible for complex installation and modification of circuits, power transitions, and equipment testing on active power systems. This role includes troubleshooting, overseeing critical work activities, and performing Site Supervisor duties to ensure timely resolution of customer issues and successful project execution. This role will report to the West Region Services Manager.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
As the Telecommunications Installer (Level IV), you will:
Perform circuit modifications, additions, and removals on active power distribution systems.
Execute power transition operations and test/turn-up of power system equipment.
Oversee volatile and high-risk work activities on job site.
Serve as Site Supervisor, ensuring project compliance, safety, and quality standards.
Troubleshoot complex issues using experience and sound judgment.
Plan and accomplish tasks to meet customer goals and resolve key issues in a timely manner.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of six (6) years of experience in DC power equipment installation is required.
Computer skills including Microsoft Outlook / Excel / Word
A valid driver's license.
Ability and willingness to travel approximately 100% and willingness to work different shifts (swing shifts).
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to lift at least 40 lbs.
Ability to operate motorized lift equipment to maneuver, install or remove 80-750 lb. batteries
Frequently pushing or pulling of cables up to 60 lbs.
Frequently climbing ladders up to 8 ft.
Frequently working/standing on ladders for long periods of time
