• Soft skills : Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Potential ability to represent Sanofi in cross-company activities such a consortiums or professional associations.

• Technical skills : Broad knowledge and good understanding of advanced statistical concepts and techniques, with the capability to quickly acquire knowledge in new statistical frontiers. Proven track record of independent methodology research capability is a plus. Excellent R/SAS programming skills. Strong computational skill or knowledge in other computer languages or extensive statistical simulations experience is a plus.

• Education : PhD in Statistics or related discipline, or MS in Statistics or related discipline with solid statistical methodology potential

Senior Audit Project Leader

* Oversees risk-focused audit activities, in accordance with Internal Audit policies, methodologies, and standards to identify meaningful issues, risks and other exposures in areas being audited.
* Collaborating with Audit Leadership team to determine and prioritize regulatory priorities and business strategies
* Identifying and providing recommendations on improvements across the organization
* Providing the Deputy Chief Auditor with recommendations and consultation to improve reimagine audit processes and practices.
* Planning, coordinating, and keeping contents of a meeting focused.
* Working with relevant stakeholders to deliver, monitor and communicate progress towards goals
* Providing Deputy Chief Auditor and other senior leaders with insight and analysis
* Strong project management skills creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
* Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected
* Understands the sensitive nature of confidential information and uses it appropriately.
* Has demonstrated ability to articulate difficult concepts to others, adapting communication methods/approaches as necessary.
* Applies solid judgement and analytical skills, contributing to the development of innovative solutions to complex problems.

JT4 provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. We develop and maintain realistic integrated test and training environments, and prepare our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapon's systems and air crews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.

SITE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS



JT4 is seeking a senior project manager to lead the development of the China Lake Range's new Range Control Center Complex that will become of center of weapons and electronic warfare testing in the Western United States. This individual will also support the development and integration of new EW mission systems, and fixed and mobile targets. Individual should have demonstrated performance managing multiple large and complex projects. The desired candidate shall have at least 10 years' experience managing these projects from project initiation to project closure. The desired candidate shall have prior experience directing and managing projects in support of the Department of Defense. Individuals with DAWIA certifications are encouraged to apply. Individual will have an opportunity to work with National Level experts in electronic warfare, weapon systems development and test operations. The desired candidate should have the ability to use methods and tools for quantitatively analyzing decisions under uncertainty and/or multiple conflicting objectives (Methods may include Trade Studies, Value Engineering, Alternative Analysis, Sensitivity Analysis Techniques (e.g. Monte Carlo, Stochastic Programming), Cost as an Independent Variable (CAIV), Schedule as an Independent Variable (SAIV). The desired candidate should have a basic understanding of Model Based Systems Engineering. This is a Non-Telework/Non-Hybrid position.



JOB SUMMARY - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

Using comprehensive knowledge of project management and systems engineering fundamentals, the incumbent individually leads small to large size projects and programs of low to high complexity supporting Company and customer requirements. Additional functions and duties involve:

Assist Project and/or Program Managers with the daily conduct of large project/program activities involving Project tasks including:


Make priority determinations and resource management and leveling decisions Develop, review, and approve project documentation Establish and maintain project/program portfolio Establish, execute, and report on project budget Manage project risk Monitor/control and re-plan project Provide project status through project/program reviews Annotate lessons learned and archive project data Responsible for the operation of the Work Management System (WMS) and training project/program personnel on its functions Create, evaluate, and distribute reports and resolve anomalies or issues with project/program data Develop and conduct training classes in practical project management Develop and improve project management tools, processes, and procedures Follow company and Government processes and procedures as required maintaining accountability and responsibility for project schedule, budget, and requirements to deliver projects on time meeting required budget Required to recruit and hire appropriate technical personnel to ensure the accomplishment of project/program requirements Use established policies, procedures, and subject matter knowledge to complete assignments of high complexity that vary in nature and sequence

WORKING CONDITIONS

This position involves work typical of an office environment with no unusual hazards. There is occasional lifting (up to 20 pounds), constant sitting and use of a computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while writing, reviewing, and editing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness. Routine travel to remote Company work locations may be required.


REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Project Manager IV:
Must have a Bachelor's or higher degree or any combination of formal education, training and experience equivalent to 12 years involvement in technically demanding program or project assignments. Must have demonstrated supervisory knowledge and skills in resource organization and allocation, planning and budgeting, continuous quality and process improvement, configuration management, setting and measurement of program goals, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have knowledge of Earned Value Management techniques. Position may require travel. Incumbent must qualify for and maintain a Security Clearance and possess a valid State driver's license.

Project Manager V:
Must have a Bachelor's or higher degree or any combination of formal education, training and experience equivalent to 14 years involvement in technically demanding program or project assignments. Must have demonstrated superior knowledge and skills in all aspects of the project management discipline to include resource organization and allocation, planning and budgeting, continuous quality and process improvement, configuration management, setting and measurement of program goals, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. Incumbent must qualify for and maintain a government Security Clearance and possess a valid State driver's license.


A Little about Ridgecrest, California

This position is based in Ridgecrest, California, in Kern County in the southern part of the Indian Wells Valley. Residents are attracted to area for its clean air, good water, highway accessibility, easy access to multiple recreational opportunities, and proximity to major Southern California resources in Los Angeles, Bakersfield, and the Antelope Valley.

Ridgecrest is a small, patriotic, family-oriented community, where many of the residents contribute to the vital support of the Navy mission at the nearby China Lake Ranges.

Residents live minutes away from community activities and parks, shopping, and the JT4 office. Community parks cover nearly a hundred acres and include playgrounds, a skateboard park, soccer, softball, baseball, and football fields, basketball, tennis, and racquetball courts. Residents enjoy a variety of community events held throughout the year at local city and county parks and cultural centers.

Surrounded by four mountain ranges, Ridgecrest is a hub of activity for outdoor enthusiasts, where residents regularly take advantage of Ridgecrest's close proximity to all the best California has to offer in outdoor activities at nearby national forests and wilderness areas including Yosemite, Mono Lake, Sequoia, Red Rock and Owens Peak. The sunny California beach is only three hours away.

Ridgecrest is near two major highways, the 395 and 14. The Ontario and Burbank Airports are a little over a two hour drive away. The drive to the Lancaster/Palmdale area is approximately an hour and a quarter.
